• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    had spyder at dealer for recall ,took about 15 min . I have a hindle pipe on it , thats all. Left the dealer and it had a cough. It would cough when it was cold, but was warmed up at the time.Didn't have time to bring back.Also seemed to run hotter than before. any thoughts?:dontknow:

    cough had dealer do the steering update 9\21\09 I have a hindle pipe on it and no other mods. When it is cold it will cough a little.After the update thing coughed all the way home. Also seemed to run a bit hotter It was about 72 out and will run at 3 bars when traveling.Stop at a light 5...

    hindle leak i put high temp silicone on mine. and yes it leaks right at the seam where it is rivited.

    loose heat shield

    found a rattle noise on spyder.... master cylinder heat shield was loose ..needed to puy a washer on to tighten it up. seemed if i went any tighter something was going to break.. anyone else have this problem?

    oil change i changed my own oil @ $11.99 per quart $16 and change for the filter. Dealer said to use the old o rings and drain plug washers, book said to change.Biggest part of the job was taking bike apart to do the sevice. MUST BE VERY CAREFUL

    vibrations

    my spyder seems to have a vibration until i hit 67 to 70 mph.I own a harley road king, that doesn't vibrate like this does. Hands go numb in 15 min.... any answers? thanks................
