• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Help for GPS Mount

Well, I never thought getting a GPS mount would be this time-consuming, but it is finally on!!! When I took the RTS in to the dealer Saturday to get my new Fuel Gauge replaced, they loosened the 2 lower bolts on the steering wheel for me (to install the Kewlmetal mount). Evidently they are...

    Bouncing Fuel Gauge

Finally Fixed! Hi all, I wrote BRP an email over a month ago and they contacted my dealer directly to tell them that a new gauge was needed. They told me the service manager was going to contact me and let me know what they discussed...Unfortunately, I assumed the dealership would do that and...

Updated Info on RT/RS SE5 clutch "fix" campaign

I just got my RTS back after clutch was repaired a couple weeks ago. It shifts soooo smoothly now. I don't even notice going from 1st to second. I am pretty sure the "clunk" is still there going to 1st or Reverse from Neutral. ( I was having issues getting it to GO into Neutral from 1st, so...

    Bouncing Fuel Gauge

It says on the Repair Order that they replaced the fuel pump/sending unit. There is no mention of replacing the gauge itself. Scotty, do you know who at BRP my dealer can contact? Obviously the person they talked with didn't know that just a new fuel gauge would fix it. Cost BRP lots of $$...

    Help for GPS Mount

Threewheels and Nancy's Toy... ugh... this is so frustrating, since I don't understand wiring AT ALL and am not sure what all these wires/switches/plugs do, nor am I proficient in mechanic-speak terminology!! Please bear with me... My husband has the Zumo 660 mounted on the handlebar of his...

    Bouncing Fuel Gauge

Well, the new fuel gauge parts that I waited seven weeks for... DID NOT fix the problem! They installed a new fuel pump with sending unit and it didn't work...still bouncing all over. Dealer told me yesterday that they noticed it was bouncing on the test ride. They spent over 4 hours...

    Help for GPS Mount

thank you! Thanks to all of you for your input. I ordered the Kewlmetal mount and hopefully it will arrive soon. Another question for you now... When my Spyder was in for clutch and fuel gauge repair, I asked my dealer to install a 12 volt up in the dash so I can just plug in my GPS...

2010 RT-S Clutch Recall - Review after the recall

Ditto... I just got mine back yesterday, too. Seven weeks in the shop and now it just purrs! Can't believe the difference... it drives so smoothly now.:D Granted, I only had 150 miles on it before it started stalling and creeping, but very "rough" miles! I didn't know how rough until now...

    Help for GPS Mount

I am trying to figure out how to install a mount for a new Zumo 660 that hubby and I will share from my RTS and his Harley. I am so non-mechanical and need help figuring out if the below RAM base will work on the handlebars, so I can just use his RAM mount the GPS comes with...

    Hurry Up & Wait

This same thing has happened to me. Mine is now 7 weeks in the shop and we were waiting for the clutch parts, then fuel gauge parts. Supposedly parts were all here a week ago, but it is still not done. They have one Spyder tech and he also works on boats, and there are about 7 Spyders there...

Are there any Spyder owners out there having experience with dealers in Palm Beach or Broward Counties in South Florida? I am having trouble with my dealer and want to know who else would be good to work with to service my RTS SE5 Spyder. Please PM me to discuss. Thanks.

Updated Info on RT/RS SE5 clutch "fix" campaign

I am so glad to see that BRP has decided to recall our SE machines as this clutch issue has the potential to be very dangerous and a serious safety issue. I got lucky my spyder re-started every time, but others aren't so lucky. Thanks for sharing this information!
