• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    July Weather News

Large solar flare released last Friday began impacting Earth directly earlier today. Auroras visible (more-so than usual) in Canada and northern US. Expect possible outages to GPS, cellular, transit signaling systems and power grids, particularly on the night-side of the planet. Happy riding!

Rash of new idiots on 2 wheels

Right on the nosey. There's a crosswalk through an intersection at the local ferry terminal that these jokers blow through regularly regardless of whether they have the light. One lady in particular I've nearly run over a few times now because she pulls this crap every single day. I'll have the...

My 2022 Ryker keys are interchangeable...

I've tried to start mine before while touching the key to the socket without actually clipping it in. Would not start. Frankly, I'd hoped it would work, because I'd rather just keep it on my key-ring. Something about four little plastic wings being solely responsible for retaining the key while...

    How to tow a Ryker?

As a former tow truck operator, and per BRP...trailer it all wheels off-ground. It doesn't have the proper tie-down points for wheel-lift towing. Towing with the rear wheel on the ground is likely to cause driveline/transmission problems, particularly since there's no positive detent for...

    Ryker VSS Fault Saga

Oh absolutely. Logs are my life. I don't like to be quick to accuse anyone of being dishonest without hard evidence. While I strongly suspect it in this instance, I can't prove it, so I haven't gone so far as to confront them about it. I'm keeping it in mind when dealing with them. Back when...

    Ryker VSS Fault Saga

Not at all. So, I am new to the Ryker, but I have ridden two wheels previously, over a decade ago. The first time the fault occurred, I wasn't entirely sure that I hadn't accidentally ridden the brake and I was upfront with the shop about that. When I got it back initially, one of the first...

Windshield for Ryker - what are you guys running?

CalSci medium height. I'm 6'0" and found their measurement guide to be dead on. Not too fancy, not adjustable, but the few times I've been able to ride it so far it has eliminated air pressure on my torso, and I can tuck my head down a bit if I find my helmet being jostled and its perfect. My...

    Ryker VSS Fault Saga

I figured I'd start this thread in case someone else has a similar experience. Hopefully they may avoid the same frustration. I'd previously mentioned the beginning of this, and what I initially thought was resolution, over in...

Who has or has not had problems with their Ryker??

Got it back from the shop today. As I suspected, it was the yaw sensor. They were able to reset it and opened a case with BRP in case it occurs again. Supposed to just keep an eye on it for now. Took the 20mi route to get 3 miles home, seems okay so far. Yeah, I found a couple places with them...

Who has or has not had problems with their Ryker??

VSS Fault in < 60mi Bought mine (2021 900 ACE) a little over a week ago. Less than a mile on the clock, so I know they didn't test ride it. Five miles home from the dealership, no issues. 40 mile round trip test run (uphill, downhill, sweeping curves, 55mph highway), no issues. Try to commute...
