• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Converting the tail lights to LED.. Q's

Yep, understand where your'e coming from. The good thing is you only have to do it once, if you solder the joint use amalgamating tape to finish it, its completely moisture resistant and permanent.

    2009 gps garmin 660 question

The only other pic I have is this one, it shows the mount better. Just checked the thickness of plastic I had left over, it's 4mm thick, so it bent and took the same contour as the top cover.

Converting the tail lights to LED.. Q's

You need only wire a 50 watt / 6 ohm load resistor like this to stop canbus errors. Ebay, cheap as fries. Did my 2012 RS when I fitted LED bulbs

    Spongy Brakes

More than one pump of the pedal doesn't indicate air in the system if the pedal get firm. If air is present you cannot get a firm pedal at all, it is always soft. Normally multiple pumps means you are having to move more fluid, mostly associated with brake pads that are stuck in the calipers...

Could have a different bandwidth, you need the specs. Like tires, they all do the same thing, but it must be the correct one for the job.

    Initial 600 mile Service

Yep your'e right, UK warranty law was changed recently, If you are a qualified engineer (which I am) and use genuine OEM parts, you cannot void a warranty. This was to stop dealerships from having a monopoly. My only concern would be the diagnostic check and service reset carried out by the...

    RS Brakes

On careful examination of the rotors, we found marks running from the center to the outside which we believe to be preservative which was never cleaned off and a combination of heat and centrifugal force has caused it to be flung across the pad contact area. The rotors were removed, mounted on a...

    Initial 600 mile Service

So I take my Spyder to the dealers to have the 600 mile service carried out, when I get home I decide to check the oil level to make sure all is OK. I take off the service panel and I see only a small mark where the mechanic has wiped around the filler on the oil tank, no other marks anywhere...
