• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Check Engine Codes

hello everyone, So, I've been trying to figure out how to pull an active code on my 2012 Spyder RS. Every so often I'll be riding along and I'll get a check engine light. The bike doesn't change the way it's moving, nothing seems to be out of the ordinary other then the light. The thing is...

What is the Average Age of Spyder Owners? - 2nd Edition

Unless you took the govonor off, the 998 tops at 124 (at least mine and my buddy's rs did) idk about the new 1330 motors. Don't get me wrong that's stupid fast but most people my age want the ability to die in a motorcycle wreck around 150-170 lol if you've figured out how to go that fast please...

What is the Average Age of Spyder Owners? - 2nd Edition

I think you hit the nail on the head. Even the new commercials are pulling for a younger demo and the fact that a. They aren't quite as cheap as a standard bike or b. Aren't as fast are two very large points keeping them out of that demo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What is the Average Age of Spyder Owners? - 2nd Edition

Your probably right. We ended up in a good job and were smart with our money. Plus, given this was really one of my only options to get on the road on a motorcycle we kinda just pulled the trigger and went with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This Year I've earned a new riding badge....

The gear I've got isn't top of the line, but it's pretty good. I'll admit that what I rode in was a pretty damn nasty storm and I was wet up top but to be fair I didn't realize it until I got stopped so that wasn't a horrible problem. My bottom half was pretty well dry all the way. In all...

What is the Average Age of Spyder Owners? - 2nd Edition

It's funny to watch this thread unfold. I feel like the damn unicorn of the group. I'm 25 and have had my Rs for about 4 years. Best decision I ever made was buying that bike and I love every mile I ride.

This Year I've earned a new riding badge....

So I've been a proud Spyder owner for about 4 years. Up until this year I really didn't have a good set of rain gear for the rides. This year there's now been twice I've been caught in some torrential rain. Once in Spyderfest earlier this year and once a couple days ago while on my way home from...

    Motorcycle Lift

I've Been looking into this it seems as if most of you prefer a standard motorcycle jack over one of the spyder lifts that I was looking at a few days ago is that true? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Longest Journey To Date Starts tomorrow

I'll prolly take some of that way once I get into kinda familiar territory but getting lost after already being out 4 hours would make for a horrible Monday work day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Longest Journey To Date Starts tomorrow

Ride up was good, took just short of 4 hours made it damn near straight through with no stops. Roads were good. Hell of a ride and I get to turn around and go back the opposite direction tomorrow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Longest Journey To Date Starts tomorrow

I know this isn't much to most of you but I'm going on what will be my longest single straight through trip tomorrow, I'll be running almost 250 miles over about 4-5 hours. Then on Sunday I make the teak back home for a total of about 500 or so miles. Pretty excited to do something like this for...

    My milestone ryde today..

Love reading stories of people who Can Am have helped ride, like they have me. I spent the first 22 years of my life unable to ride a motorcycle or even actual bike. Since I bought my RS back in 2012 I absolutely love it and have been riding everywhere and recently went over 16K miles. Been a...

    Are you able to....

I had thought about doing something similar to my 12 RS. It's all black from top to bottom and I had debated turning it into a midnight blue, maybe a little lighter shade and kind of making it two tone. That's a project for winter though, and when I have a garage. When I was looking into it, I...
