• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    MY TAKE ON IT

I sold mine on CycleTrader. It took a long time to find a buyer but we were both happy with the deal. I priced it based on the feedback I got from here and in CycleTrader. The only responses I got from Craigslist were from scammers, so be careful out there.

AAA does DMV services Except for driver licenses, AAA will take care of just about everything DMV-related for free as part of your membership, and they are even nice about it!

    Washing a Spyder

Once it's clean, a clay bar properly applied works wonders. Smooth! If you put your hand in a plastic bag, you can feel all kinds of grit embedded in the paint. The clay bar pulls all of that out, leaving a surface so smooth flies can't land on it. They just skid off! :joke:

HAVE YOU TRIED?? ***MERLIN'S BLOOD WHEEL CLEANER*** BY TIRE GRAFIXX

I got 2 bottles in the mail today and had to try it out. I did the wheels on our Mini Cooper, Chevy Express 3500 van, and Honda Ridgeline, all with 1 bottle, and still have enough in the bottle to do another couple of wheels. Works great! One issue though. I managed to blow a little bit in my...

    Brake Caliper, or rotor problem?

EBC Brakes has a lot of very informative articles on their website. I suggest reading them (especially about bedding in new pads); your frustration level will go way down. https://ebcbrakes.com/ebc-technical-brake-articles/

    Brake Caliper, or rotor problem?

I had a similar problem with my 2012 RT Ltd. I pulled the rotors and checked them on a surface plate; the left was reasonably flat, but the right had about .030" of runout. I replaced both rotors with EBC rotors, and did the pads as well. Problem solved.

    The return of the Sparrow?

Four years later, a new Sparrow is coming out This thread is really old, but the sparrowcar.com site says they have a new release going into closed beta testing as of June of this year. I confess, I am strangely drawn to the new styling...:wrong:

    ANOTHER REAR TIRE BITES IT

Stick a penny in the tread? The handiest tire wear gauge around is probably in your pocket! Stick a penny in the tread (away from the wear bars) with the top of Lincoln's head down. If you can see the top of his head, the tread is worn below the limit. There used to be PSAs on TV about this...

    Leash for Sena?

I found my Sena I went back and found my unit laying in the dirt. It had been run over and is pretty scuffed up, but it works. I need to replace it, though, because it won't charge. A leash is definitely on my list.

ACS showing MANUAL on dash - fixes?

Rats. Rats got into my 2012 RT ltd and ate the wires going to the compressor, along with some other tasty stuff. $1,500 worth of damage; insurance paid less the $500 deductible.

    Leash for Sena?

My Sena 10S flew the coop this morning. :( I stopped to put on a jacket liner, and when I got to work I found out why Waze was being so quiet. I'll check the area where I stopped on the way home; maybe I'll get lucky and find it there. I distinctly recall that someone (maybe Doc Humphrey) is...
