• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Puzzled...

I am probably the red one you saw on the 205. I live in SE Portland and commute to work in Wilsonville.

Those floorboards would look really schweet on my Spyder. Can't wait for them to be available.

    Gas Gauge Issues

Yeah. I reread the manual section on break-in before I collapsed from exhaustion (umm...went to sleep) last night and that pretty much seems to be what it is implying.

    Gas Gauge Issues

The reason why they implemented the law (so they say) is to provide jobs. The state minimum wage is $8.40. Pumping gas is an easy $8.40/hr and you don't have to be drug-screened. Also, the gas stations are freaky about people touching the pumps because of the tight control of the state...

    Gas Gauge Issues

I think his "yell" was meant to be more figurative than literal. He just wants to make sure that I properly break-in the engine to ensure I get the full life out of it. The Spyder guy at the dealership is great and is a Spyder junkie. That's the only BRP machine he works on for them now. The...

    Gas Gauge Issues

Wherein the problem lies. I live in Oregon (hence the screen name SpydOR). We are not allowed by law to pump our own gas, with the exception of motorcycles and other non-automobile vehicles. Even though I am the one actually operating the nozzle, I am not allowed to operate the actual pump...

    Gas Gauge Issues

The dealership told me thusly: Don't let it idle, keep it high-tached (4000-6000rpm range), keep rolling on and rolling off the throttle, don't take it on the freeway as that would require constant RPMs, etc. Their technician told me that he would hook it up to BUDS at the first service and...

    Gas Gauge Issues

I received the bike with about 5 miles on it. I rode it about 5 miles before the light came on. I put in four gallons. I rode it until 101 miles was showing on the odometer and then put in 4.5 gallons. So, by my math, I am getting 20.22 mpg. I am pushing it hard, because the dealership I...

    Gas Gauge Issues

I just got my SM5 on Friday (I've already put 120 miles on it!) and I am having an issue with the gas gauge. My low fuel light came on and the gauge was showing only one bar, so I decided to fill it up. It only took four gallons. I ran the tank down until no bars were showing and filled it up...

Sorry about that gang...did you miss us?

What are your server specs? Can I help bounce you ideas for an upgrade? Don't worry, I'm not selling any products. I just run the IT program for a college and wouldn't mind helping you out.

Sneak peek of ISCI's Upcoming Product Line

OpenOffice only works on Mac if you have X11 installed. If you do not have X11 installed, I recommend NeoOffice instead. It is based off OpenOffice and will allow you to read all MS formats (except for the new XML-based 2007 formats) and other less-common formats...

Question for the Magic Man re: Triple Play

In my defense, I want a way to scare off the average criminal because I do not have some basic protections that other members of this forum have. First, I live in an apartment. I do not have a garage to lock up my Spyder, only a desginated parking spot in my complex. Second, I live in a...

Question for the Magic Man re: Triple Play

I appreciate the quick response, Magic Man. I have decided to purchase the Triple Play. I have emailed Talon, directed them to its page, and hope to hear back from them soon. If I have to make an either/or decision, it will be the Triple Play that is installed. By the way, you...

Question for the Magic Man re: Triple Play

Is the NMN Triple Play unit affected by installing a Talon T-3300 alarm? I want both on my Spyder (I get it in 1 more week!), but I didn't know if there would be any problems since both use the rear tail-light connectors. If there is no problem, in which order should I connect them? Many...
