• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Don't let people bounce on your Highway pegs

The reality of univited guests has prompted us to alarm the Spyders with the Talon alarm - did the install last week and they work great with the perimeter sensor. Set it off and it is open season for - sorry, thought you were stealing my ride and wanted to stop you!!!! :cop:

    The nerve of some....

My wife was out with her Spyder at a softball game - watching both the game and the Spyder. She actually had someone come up to the Spyder and begin rocking it by the handlebars - checking the suspension I guess. I think my wife has finally come down, but was completely unglued at the nerve of...

My mounting pics of luggage rack/backrest

I did the install yesterday - really can be done in about 2 hours. Not very complicated - will agree the directions from CanAm are a bit vague, but if you are intuitive - you can get it done. I did find that one bolt they sent did not work, but no worries as I got one that did. I think fit and...

    Can-Am Luggage Rack/Backrest

How many folks have done this install themselves? I looked around, but saw limited traffic on this. I believer dealer install is charging around 2 hours and at $90/hour - just don't see paying another $400 for the two Spyders we have to do this install. But if it is an annoying job - I could...

    Vista Cruise

Has anyone installed a Vista Cruise and if so, what model did you use? I have utilized the Brake Away Cruise on my 98 Intruder 1400 and like the thumb actuation - thinking the Vista might off similiar and since Spydie has not front brake - would be cheaper than the Brake Away. Thanks!

Has your Spyder ever broke (or nearly) Broke down?

My wife's went in to Limp Mode last Saturday on the way in for the Hindle install - VSS Fault and Check DPS where the messages. They checked it over and felt it was a connection issues and took it out for 10 miles before we got it back. Around 20 miles in to heading back home, same thing came...
