• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2023 RT suspension vs 2022 vs 2023 Sea to Sky

Thanks for the replies. The front was just as stiff as the rear. No air bag on the front, and the 23 Sea to Sky was really soft on the front - as was the rear. Stan

2023 RT suspension vs 2022 vs 2023 Sea to Sky

My local dealer (NC) has some 23 RT's on the floor. I looked at them and noticed the spring/shock action was very stiff. Looked at 22 and not so stiff. However the 23 Sea to Sky was very soft and would probably ride more comfortable. Did BRP make a change from 22 to 23 in the suspension...

Are Belt Tensioners installed on new bikes same as they used to be?

Let's get back to the original question. Are the belt tensioners now installed by the factory different from the ones BRP was selling to us as an add on?

    Ethanol - interesting new study

I have read that battery production creates more pollution than gasoline. Our electric grid at present cannot support all electric cars either. It's a catch 22.

Anyone used Castrol Full Synthetic? Results?

I've been told by a spyder tec that BRP oil is Castrol. But I think the BRP oil is a blend. I've used Amsoil full synthetic in my RT with no problems.

It was for fog lights. Some had them and some did not. They were an option. Stan

F4 Windshield with or without vent?

I got the F-4 shield with the vent. It lets more air in and is adjustable, but a lot of air comes up from bottom of shield anyway. I'm not so sure the vent is necessary. A vent can always be added later.

    Front Sprocket Again!!

Is it possible the motor mounts are off just a tiny bit making the pressure on the sprocket a little off to one side and causing undue wear? Juice

    Starting my Spyder

Disabling the DESS does not eliminate the start up procedure, only eliminates the chipped key reading. To eliminate the start up I think you have to do the ECU update. Spyderjuice

New Battery Died and sat on a 2020 RTL

Lomonster Garage is listed on the home page of this forum. I have his and used it twice so far and worked very well. 1000 amp and smaller that the sizes listed above. I recommend it. Check it out and see what you think. Stan
