• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Prayer for Joe

Hi Ann, very sorry to hear about Joe's kidney stone and then the infection. My wife had a kidney stone a few years ago and said that the pain was worse than labor pains. Tell Joe to get well soon and that we are thinking about him.

    Long time ago member question

Hi Deb, it is good to hear from you again. I don't know if you will remember us, but we along with Ken Tompkins joined all of you on the "Three Great Lakes in Three Great Days" ride a few years ago. We have a lot of fond memories from that ride. I still have the same Premiere Edition #2275...

Hi Ron, it is good to hear from you. Sorry to hear about your wife's problems. Hope the spinal fusion helps her. My daughter had surgery on her spine about 6 months ago to help stop her back pain and numbness in one of her arms....so far she hasn't seen much improvement. The doctors have...

How many Spyders are over 100,000 miles?

Hi Ron, It has been a long time since we have seen each other or had any communications to each other. Been having some health problems lately with skin cancer on my face, B/P issues that have caused some kidney issues. I have battled high blood pressure for 40+ years and it finally took it's...

How many Spyders are over 100,000 miles?

Sorry I didn't get back to you 'til now but was busy with doctors visits yesterday for my wife and myself. I had the valves checked at 55,000 miles and all was found to be in spec. As far as maintenance I have done almost all myself as far as oil changes, air cleaner maintenance and greasing...

How many Spyders are over 100,000 miles?

Hi guys, I just checked my odometer and I am at 123,862 miles. If we had longer riding season here in central NY I'm sure we would have considerably more. It has been a great bike and almost trouble free. I did have some dealer issues that was expensive, but all is kind of "forgiven". The...

PGR MISSION THIS MORNING - HOMES FOR VETS.

Hi Bob, Nancy and I wanted to do this mission also, but she had her 50TH class reunion this weekend so we just could not make it. I agree that it is a true honor to do these missions and the families are always so grateful to have the PGR there to support them. Thanks for doing this mission.

    Head gasket blown

No more oil leaks Mine did turn out to be just the valve cover gaskets, although I had been told also by one dealer that it was probably not the valve cover gaskets, but more likely the head gaskets and the cost to fix it would be any where from $1500 to $2500:yikes:. I was pretty sure it was...

How my Solar Panels are doing.

My wife says we are shooting for 200,000 miles before we even consider another Spyder.:dontknow::shemademe_smilie: I have an oil leak right now that has developed and it looks like it is coming from the front valve cover. It looks like there is not going to be enough clearance to replace them...
