• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where are all the Alberta Ryders

Just finished digging my way out in BC....... ......so then I went out and bought a new Spyder! This is an older thread, but let's try to gain some momentum! I live in Chilliwack, BC, and now that our "Snowpocalypse" is over, it's time to get ready for the riding season. I did my part by...

    Tips for selling a 2012 RTS-SE5

List it in Canada too Hi, Don't forget to list it for sale on Craigslist or whatever for the Vancouver area. I'm sure that there would be some sort of inconvenient import papers that would have to be taken care of, but that would be more their problem than yours, and I know lots of people...

Olympic Peninsula LOOP 2- DAY EVENT in Sept ? Anyone interested?

Hi, I would be interested in doing this loop. I'm coming from BC, so would head down to wherever you're starting out on the Friday of the chosen weekend. I plan to do the Oyster Run on the 23rd, but would be available any other weekend. I'm not sure about pushing it into October - dare I...

    Whistler BC Canada

Hi Murphy, If you come up this way, would be happy to go for a ride with you. I have not yet done the Duffy Lake Road, but plan to this summer (if we ever get 2 sunny days in a row, it will make it easier to plan trips!) I just bought my RTS SE5 this spring, and have about 2500 km on it so...

Anyone going to Spyders in the Redwoods?

Hi Radguy, Yes, I see now that there is a group getting organized. I'm still on the fence about it, hoping there might be someone leaving also from this area. My husband already did his Harley ride with a friend a few weeks ago, so he can't be off work again right now. But I might brave it and...

Anyone going to Spyders in the Redwoods?

Hi there, I'm toying with the idea of going to this event, dates are Aug. 6th-9th. It's in Eureka, California. I live in Chilliwack, BC, and mapquest gives me a driving time of 13 hours, so 2-3 days from here. Could meet up with someone coming from further away in BC or Alberta. I'm also...

The Answer To Your Quest For The Perfect Cup Holder

Thanks for the info! I had just been wishing the other day that I had some sort of drink holder on my bike. After reading the posts here, I found that it can be ordered from Amazon.ca as well as the regular Amazon site. So I was going to do that, but first I thought I'd check out the Toys r...

Too funny! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: :clap::clap: OMG! As I was reading all the different suggestions, I thought....what have I started here? Tons of different answers, and no two the same..... I suppose the oil thread you guys were referring to was the same! I do appreciate...

    How to wash Spyder?

Yes, fair-weather rider! Yes, you caught me there- I have had the good luck (so far) to not ride in the rain! I realized some people would probably laugh at the "is it okay to get the seat wet" part, but I just wondered if it's better for it not to be wet unless absolutely necessary! :D...

    How to wash Spyder?

Hi there, I have had my Spyder now for exactly one month, and up until now, I've used a soft, wet cloth to wipe the windshield with just plain water, and done the same for any parts that were dusty or a little dirty. Now it's time for a proper wash, but I wanted to check with everyone to see...

    "Don't touch my spyder" sticker?

Thank you for all the replies! Thanks to everyone who posted with links and pictures of stickers. I will definitely be getting one or more of these, and possibly a cover also. :yikes:CyncySpyder - how upsetting to have that happen to your bike! I know I would be severely traumatized if that...

    "Don't touch my spyder" sticker?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the group - picked up my RTS SE5 about 3 weeks ago and love it! I think I saw mention on here somewhere that Lamont has stickers that fit over the pull-down warning card. Can I order/get one of these? I want to make sure that no foolish souls try to jump on my bike...
