• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Can Am Class Monday

I ran into the same issue here in Virginia. The three wheeled riding course proved to be a good option if for no other reason than getting time in the saddle.

    Observations F3-S vs the ST-S

Tim, please post pics of your wheelchair rack when finished. I'm curious to see how it is rigged. I'm still in the research stages, but am curious how folks haul their chairs.

Well I’ll be; an F3-S fits me... (F3-S vs. Ryker)

For those of you that are interested, or have been following, I’ve been documenting my spyder journey here from initial test ride up through licensure and beyond. My first ever exposure to the roadster platform was on a Ryker, my road skills test and three wheel instruction class was conducted...

These things make dreams come true...

Thank you for doing that man! If nothing else, I think this could potentially give BRP an advertising avenue that they may not have thought about. When you look at the current advertising for the Ryker lineup, it's all very edgy and youth oriented, but lacks any meaningful punch. While I...

These things make dreams come true...

Unfortunately the width of the saddle on a full sized spyder is too wide for my legs to splay. They’ll do it, but not without a noticeable degree of discomfort. Then again, a few hours on the Ryker was enough to stretch my legs such that on subsequent rides, my legs were considerably looser...

These things make dreams come true...

Some of you may’ve seen my earlier post about test riding a Ryker at BRP parking lot event. Well, after speaking with the dealer sponsoring the event, and the folks from BRP, I enrolled in the dealer’s three wheeled motorcycle course. I’ve always loved motorcycles, but living with cerebral...

    Ryker Ryders, where are you????

I'm in Crozet, VA. Shockingly, I've actually seen a Ryker in my little town. Parked outside of the local brewery.

    Hand brake?

I was literally just on the phone with a local spyder tech who also happens to be a wheelchair user discussing this very issue. Apparently the aftermarket has yet to put out a ryker specific variant just yet.

Has Anyone Switched fron an F3-T to a Ryker?

Glad I’m not the only one with the “splay” issue. I took a course to get my license this weekend and ran into the same problem. Stuck to the Ryker precisely due to its narrow width.

Finally got to ride one after a decade...

*disclaimer: wasn't really sure where to put this, but I figured it was general discussion* Well, after over a decade of lusting, I finally got to throw a leg over a Can Am. BRP hosted the ride event for the Ryker last weekend up in DC. Not having a motorcycle license, I've never had the...

Lamonster Review of the BRP Can-Am Spyder

This is really interesting post, it's always fun to see that even the spyder veterans were newbies like myself at one point. -se

USER NAMES/HANDLES - What does yours mean? Where did it come from?

Spyderenthusiast, as I don't own a spyder but really like them; hence "enthusiast" as apposed to "owner" -se

    Transformer Spyder

I saw Transformers 2 for the first time yesterday, and although brief, I thought the spyder's appearance in the film was cool. Those phantoms looked really cool with the NEST graphics and military numbers. If only we could've seen Megan Fox on one...:2thumbs: -se
