• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Check Engine across spedo screen

I have a 2008 GS SM5. 50,126KM ( about 30,000+ miles) The bike is serviced regularly by the dealer. I have seen this before on this forum, but it always said the engine warning light. Well, mine is not the engine warning light. On my speedometer dash, the warning reads: CHECK ENGINE. This...

    2009 gs gps location

I put a Garmin Nuvi on my 2008 GS this year. Put on a handle bar mount (universal fit) from one of the advertisers on this site. It locks the GPS unit in , no problem. I should also mention that I have a 12 volt power supply on the bike also, installed by the dealer. Everything works...

    Luggage rack

This is what I had made for my GS when the wife and I go away. The metal was fabricated and the top box is from a Gold Wing. Works great. And I put in Custom Dynamics LED lights in the Givi sidebags.

    Warranty Replacement

I agree. I bought my 2008 GS SM5 used from the dealer. I took it back after 2 days as a lot of codes were coming up on the screen. The dealer cleared and rechecked everything at no charge. Last year the rear wheel bearing let go. They called BRP and the dealer paid a portion and BRP paid the...
