• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3 MPG (Tuned vs. Untuned)

Worst Mileage Prize? I can provide what is probably a worst case scenario for mileage. I have a five mile commute to work, all surface streets, many traffic lights. I'm 6'6" around 235lbs. My F3S only has around 3500 miles on it so far and that sounds like its not fully broken in yet. My...

Any suggestions for a stereo to suit an F3 S?

My "budget" sound system consists of a JBL Flip 3 bluetooth speaker that I strap to the center area between the handle bars. Speaker was $80 and a couple bucks for some Velcro straps. This isn't an everyday solution but it works for me on occasion. Sent from my VS990 using Tapatalk

Weird growl at around 4K rpm

It does seem to lessen as my spyder breaks in.

    F3 and Knees

I'm a tall guy and not very flexible. My problem on the F3 is the split between my legs is greater than on any of my two wheelers. With the pegs all the way forward your legs are wider apart. I'm fine for up to an hour but I get sore after that. I don't do many longer rides so I still enjoy...

    Kicker Sound System

While its true the speaker is the actual item that creates the sound, it has nothing to do with how loud the music comes out. When you turn the volume up or down, that is the role of the amplifier. The amplifier takes the original signal and increases the amplitude so it sounds louder than the...

    Kicker Sound System

Back during my car audio selling days, Kicker was a reliable brand that usually exceeded expectations. 50 watts rms per channel should be plenty of volume for a bike, it'd be a nice match for some marine grade 5.25" speakers.

    pondering F3

All of your assumptions regarding the safety, stability, and overall ease of operation of the F3 are correct. I turn 50 this year so I'm in your age group. I've had a few two wheel motorcycles over the years and I don't miss them now that I have my spyder. All of my previous rides I've...

    Cross Country Saddlebags Install Problem

Yep, cover came off fine and but I can't figure out how to mount the panel nuts. The right side doesn't have a big enough gap to slide the panel nut on and the left side doesn't look good either. Its probably possible to cut away a bit on the right and fit one on and get the left on from a...

    Cross Country Saddlebags Install Problem

Hi gang, I'm looking for some advice from anyone who has installed their own Cross County Saddlebags. The part I'm having trouble with is the left side front anchor plate. I can't see how to install the panel nuts the plate screws into. The picture in the install instructions is vague and...
