• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thoughts on my first SS1000 with the Spyder

How much does a person really see going 80MPH.

Thoughts on my first SS1000 with the Spyder

Speed can not only kill a person, it is very hard on mileage as you noted. Riding that fast for 24 hours does not seem like a thing a lot of people would want to do. Just saying! Reasonable cruising on a Spyder with the 1330 ACE motor should be around 34 mpg.

First time ride on my Spyder today - I think I'm gonna like it!

Remember out on the open road to just guide it.

My Spyder is on the way!

Pizza is OK. People go there to see and hear the Organ. It is not a good place to meet and talk with friends, as the organ music fills the room to the point and you can not hear the person across the table from you. Plus it is rude to talk at such an event.

Check out this Rock on the road!

Well in May of 2024 I hit a German Shepherd in California and it did $5525 damage to the the Champagne 2018 I was locating from Az to Wa. Price to fix it was high as the Champagne panels were not available. Stop leak worked for the right hand radiator and I finished the 6 day bucket list ride I...

Another tire thread…but different¿ New Kenda XPS Roadster Tires - more durable...

Weights removed from a rim with Kenda tires. I do not even balance my Vredesteins on the front and Generals on the rear and they run smooth as glass.

Another tire thread…but different¿ New Kenda XPS Roadster Tires - more durable...

Have you ever ridden a Spyder with good car tires like the Vredestein's I pictured in post #28? I believe that Kenda "thing" is a bean counter issue, in that they get them dirty cheap in exchange for BRP only installing them for customers when replacements are needed. In the US that is called...

Battery Drain and Failed 11 Month Old Yuasa Battery - anyone know what the installed current draw is?

@EKB2to3Wheelz, Spyders have a fair amount of parasitic battery drain because of the DESS. Not charging it for a month is not good. I leave my Spyder off the tender for a few days once in a while, but never much longer than that.

Check out this Rock on the road!

It was on a 45 MPH road and we were not speeding. I passed over it close to the left wheel. In this picture you can see that he took a hit just a ways out from the center frame. It bent the radiator support which is removed in this photo, the frame piece that is bolted and welded to main frame...

Any foreseeable problems or concerns with this Trailer Hitch Suspension?

He might also want some spring with never rates to play around with. The GoPro camera will tell a story!
