• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Just as a follow up - I did find a set of the triaxis handlebars on ebay for under $800. My dealer quoted the job at 2.5 hours at $150/hr. I'm going to have them do the install and I'll get the shaft recall done at the same time.

    I think it is time to bite the bullet and invest in these handlebars. After a four day trip which we rode "The back of the Dragon", "The Snake" and "The tail of the Dragon" my neck and shoulders were killing me. Now, I love my Spyder - but it is not designed to cover that many twisties and turns...

    "Check Key" Msg on display - Any ideas as to what might be wrong?

    I get a check key message every few weeks. I turn the key off and wait a couple of seconds and it does go away. I would love to find someone who could disable the DESS - so I don't get stranded that one time that it won't start.

    CloverHill - there is a great dealer in Hanover, PA - Motorsports Cycle Shop. Looks like only 40 miles or so from Frederick. I've used him a couple of times and he is 100 miles from me.

    I plug my phone into the USB outlet in the trunk. I like keeping it powered on because I use it for my navigation with my Carpuride (ACP). I usually won't take calls - but I am able to do so with my Sena unit.
