• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question for former or current Goldwing owners who have a Spyder

I should have added that I had a Madstad windshield on my Wing. With the air wings and the Madstad, I did not have the problems that occur with the standard Goldwing windshield that you describe. Thanks. Dave

Question for former or current Goldwing owners who have a Spyder

I previously had a 2014 Goldwing equipped with wind wings on the mirrors. I am considering buying a Spyder. My question is regarding the wind protection from the Goldwing compared to an F3T, F3 Limited, or RT. Does the Goldwing have better wind protection than any of the Spyders? I realize...

Question about short reach bars for F3 Limited

With the short reach bars on an F3, are the grips closer together (bars narrower) in addition to being closer to the rider? If not, does anyone make a narrower set of bars for the F3?

Question about F3 versus RT acceleration

I am the OP. I asked the question because I rode an older RT (2010) and it seemed sluggish. The tension in the throttle was much more than my F6B or the Ninja 1000 that I still own. It was not fun to ride. I know it has the smaller engine, and it may just have been this particular bike, but...

Question about F3 versus RT acceleration

I am considering getting my first Spyder after selling a Goldwing F6B due to its heavy weight. Does an F3 accelerate faster than an RT of the same year and engine size (rider weight and load, etc. being similar)? Thanks. Dave

    Power steering question

Did the earlier RT models have power steering? I rode a friend's RT yesterday. I forgot what year he told me it was, I think he said 2010. It seemed to steer somewhat hard. Dave

    Emissions question

California does require the vehicle to have 7500 miles on the odometer to be registered in the State if it is not CARB compliant. I have brought several bikes into the State. Goldwings are 50 state bikes so no problem. I once bought a bike in San Diego that came in from a Navy guy relocated...

    Emissions question

Just sold a Goldwing F6B because it was getting to be too heavy for me to handle at slow speeds. Looking at Spyders. Are Spyders 50 state vehicles or are there California versions and 49 state versions. Thanks for your help. Dave

    Anybody effected by the wildfires

My guess would be that those who are truly affected will probably not be looking at a computer since their home my be gone. I live two hours north of one fire and five hours south of the other one. We count our blessings.
