• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone know the Actual cost of a new RT?

Do you know if that $53,725.00 was in US dollars? If it is, that dealer saw him coming a mile away.

What switch fits the extra rocker switch slot on 2024's?

They are Carling L-series rocker switches. I used one for the driving lights on my 2022.

Slingmods Adjustable Backrest - who has one and what do you think?

I installed one on my 2022, and ended up selling the backrest and buying the BRP version. I like it much better.

Any helpful tips for installing a Lamonster Belt damper on a 2022 RT?

I put one on mine. It's a pain in the butt to get to, but otherwise not real difficult.

How likely are Gang encounters on the road?

No, they aren't going to hassle you. They don't care as long you're not wearing a 3 piece patch. They leave us regular folks alone, and for the most part they are okay people. The biggest threat is drivers on their cell phones.

Need to modify driver's seat on 2023 RTL - anyone made theirs comfortable?

I put a Corbin seat on my 22 RTL, I can ride all day in comfort.

So many complaints about the Spyders. Anyone with no problems?

Other than the cheap imported battery I had to replace after 10 months, no issues at all with my 22 RTL. I've put ~10,000 miles on it.

    Is it Zumo time???

I use my phone for streaming audio (Sirius/XM, Spotfiy, Amazon Music, etc) to the bike (or to my Cardo Edge). I keep my phone in a holder on the handlebars.

2024 RTL display and other items failed

The dealer will install another crappy, low-quality battery.

Looking for opinions on when to do the first oil change?

I changed mine at 1000 miles. My purchase included a few oil changes, so I took it to the dealer at 3000 miles.

What's the deal with Insurance and riding club membership?

I don't think I've ever seen that question when getting an insurance quote.

'22 RT starting slowly after sitting on tender - replacement Battery?

I've been running on my YUASA battery for a few months now and no more slow cranking or VSS faults!

Anyone else dealing with this sort of Gas Mileage?

I don't rely on the miles to empty number too much. I have an app on my phone (Fuelio) that I use to keep track of fuel for both my Spyder and my GMC. At each fill up I enter the trip odometer reading, gallons purchased, amount of fuel, and price per gallon. It calculates gas mileage, averages...

My experiences with Front tire mounting...

These bikes come with car tires and the wheels are car wheels, not motorcycle rims. The only issue I know is some tire machines need an adapter due to the smaller hubs in these wheels.
