• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3 total failure

Everything is all better now. It was a 2019 F3T. I found what I think was the problem and got it started today. Finally cleared all the codes and drove it directly to the nearest Can-Am dealer and traded it in on a new 2020 RT. The original dealer who I bought the F3 from couldn't get it...

    F3 total failure

Thanks for the quick replies. First, thanks for the thoughts about the battery. It has no problem turning over the engine and has a battery tender attached to it when it is parked. I did look at the terminals after your post and they are clean and tight. On the lemon law thing, Florida...

    F3 total failure

Well last night, my F3 totally let me down. This F3 has had consistent issues since new and has been in the shop several times for repairing the same thing. A check engine light would come on (P0172) and it pointed to a purge valve issue that has now been replaced twice. The check engine...

    code P0172, again...

Well it's been a month and the Spyder has been returned. They again changed the purge valve (this is the second replacement valve), updated the ECM and updated the DPS. They put 30 miles on it and deemed it OK. They dropped off the bike at my home (nice touch) and left. I took it for a ride...

    code P0172, again...

No, my Spyder is 100% stock. Just talked to the dealer today. BRP told them that they had a software fix that would correct the problem. The dealer applied the fix and the code immediately returned. They checked the fuel pressure (per this thread which I sent them) and determined the fuel...

    code P0172, again...

Just a bump to this thread. I have a 2019 F3T that has about 1000 miles on the odometer. It was a slightly used "demo" that I took delivery on about 6 months ago. When it had about 600 miles on it, it developed the P0172 code. I took it in to the dealer and they said the purge valve had...

    F3-T Black Paint

Yeah, the black panels do not have any paint. The side service panels, tank cover and dash are poly-carbonate plastic along with anything else that is high gloss black on the Spyder. I bought my F3-T as a low mileage demo and the panels looked like they were 100 years old. I think they cleaned...
