• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Removed my sprocket today. No red powder or dust visible before removing. Very little paste on the splines. There was slight rust on both surfaces however no signs of fretting or looseness. This is at 16000km. Caught just in time I think. I ordered Loctite 51048 to reassemble.

    The exhaust flashing coming out of the engine can rattle. I used some header wrap to wedge between it and the exhaust pipe to cure that.

    No...thats not it. My F3 had oem made in china bearings. I replaced them with NTN Bearing 6205ZZC3/EM Single Row Deep Groove Radial Ball Bearing, Electric Motor Quality. This 100% fixed the gear whine type noise that some are complaining about between 40-50mph (70-80kmph). I dont have an RT but...

    The F3 has 2 of the 6205 bearings. Are the RT's the same? BRP lists different part numbers but I suspect they are the same.

    thanks Peter. I was idling in first gear to align the belt. I was expecting a code and was hoping there was a method to reset without riding as I am in Ontario. Trailering to Florida in a couple days so trying to avoid any issue when I get there
