• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Sway bar Baja Ron

I purchased a Baja Ron swaybar for my 2012 RT and have seen a few threads about the height that is needed to replace...somewhere around 18 - 22 inches. Funny, the directions in the package say it only needs to be raised to gain access and that the weight does not have to be off the tires...

First oil change on 2013 ST-S

1st oil change Just passing this along for what it's worth. Every rebuilt engine I have installed have had a "Caution" about synthetic oil. It says to wait until 10,000 miles before switching to synthetic because synthetic oil does not allow enough friction to properly seat the valves.

    2013 RT LTD - analog fuel gauge - accuracy - NOT !

analog gauges I feel your pain and agree that a $30000 machine should have better engineering. What is even more inexcusable is the BRP attitude. i spoke to a tech rep at BRP and he said that the gauge inaccuracy was normal and then just didn't answer any more emails on the subject. It sure...

Is my new machine just NOT made for those twisty-turnies?

leg work I have ridden 2 wheelers for 35 years. On the spyder I learned to push downward on the inside handle bar and push down hard on the outside foot, all the while leaning into the turn. That helped me tremendously.

What do YOU want to tell BRP at the Owner's Event?

Electronics How about more accurate instrumentation. What is the point of a temp gauge that normally is 8 degrees off and a fuel gauge that reads empty when there are 2 gallons remaining? This just makes me question the validity of the rest of the electronics.

    Outdoor temp gage

Ambient Temp gauge My 2012 reads AT LEAST 8-10 degrees high all the time, sometimes 30 degrees high after sitting in the shade. The BRP tech says this is normal. Seems like a design flaw to me. How am I suppose to have any confidence in all the computerization when the temperature gage is this...
