• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Confused about rear axle nut torque.

    OK then,not confused anymore. I retorqued axle nut from 100 ft/lb to 160 ft/lb. That is scary tight for a hollow axle, I was waiting for the pop but it held. the belt alignment stayed OK. Just ride it now and see what happens. Thank you everybody who took time to help:2thumbs:

    2013 rts rear axel

    Dose any one know the proper torque for the rear axel nut. I have heard any thing fom 96 ft/lb to to 161 ft/lb. Dose any one know for sure. I changed the rear tire and pulled it up to 100 ft/lbs. all. All seems fine, just need to know if it's tight enough.

    998s ok. I have a 2013 RTs se5 with the heat mods done dealer. I love v twin 998 sound. wife and i weight close to 500 lbs, she has plenty of power. We have 20000 miles with no problems. I would buy another one in a heart beat. It will run with most stock Harleys.
