• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New battery - could it be dead after just 1 year?! Any ideas?

I am not understanding why you do not use the battery tender. Your short trips do not allow for a full recovery after a startup. Just those two things alone, destroyed the battery. Also, you trusted them when they said it was fully charged. I never trust that statement and when I buy a new...

180 Ryders of 17 Countries in the Austrian Alps - Event

Thanks for those great videos. My wife and I have ridden a rented BMW K1200LT all over the Alps back in 2000. So nice to see those scenes again. I'd love to do it again on our Spyder, but Father Time is not being kind to me.

    Taking care of the windscreen

I can't improve on your system, with one exception. I find that microfiber cloths leave lots of tiny fibers on the w/s, so I use old 100% cotton T-shirts that have no printing on them for applying the Plexus.

Sorry, but you'd be overloading every model according to BRP specs.

Which direction to undo front sprocket bolt?

It's a right hand thread and I would examine it, clean the splines and cover the them real good with the Moly Paste. Torque to 110 ft/lbs. I did not like the looks of the lube BRP used - it appeared to be just a white lithium grease. Maybe that's the cause of the failures?

Any reviews of Aftermarket brake pads? EBC, Bikemaster, Others?

Squeaking pads is usually the result of being too easy on your brakes. Chances are, the pads are now glazed. This will happen to any pad that's "babied." Try doing a series of very hard stops starting at 50 miles an hour down to 20, one after another. There are other things that can be done to...

My Handlerbars Keep Coming Loose - anyone else? Fix?

Torque wrenches work counter clockwise too. There are screwdriver sockets as well.

My Handlerbars Keep Coming Loose - anyone else? Fix?

Do you have a torque wrench? If so, tighten to spec. Gradually tighten each fastener in turn more and more until you reached the correct tightness. If you don't have a torque wrench, go on line a look for Harbor Freight coupons. The often put their torque wrenches on sale. Their cheaper line...

I only ride my 2021 Ryker Rally in ECO MODE!

Neither do I. No matter how I am riding, or where, I get in the low 30s. That's good enough for me.

I only ride my 2021 Ryker Rally in ECO MODE!

I'm 86 and ride like bat out of hell. Tried ECO mode once and found it to be a real joy killer. Not only do I avoid ECO mode, I have installed car tires, a Bajaron sway bar, a Pedal Commander, and Elka Stage 2 front shocks. Yee Haw!!! See ya later. We all age differently.

This is a question on how people are labeled based on their views

The herd stinks. Do your own thinking. We have problems today because too many now follow the herd for one reason or another.
