• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder safer than a two-wheel bike? Here is your answer...

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I'm doing ok. Body hurts a lot (thank God for hydrocodone) but everything is fixable. Love this community. You guys are the best.

Spyder safer than a two-wheel bike? Here is your answer...

Adrenaline. I was able to slide my body out with a bit of work. Getting my left leg out was tough, especially with my pelvis being jacked up.

Spyder safer than a two-wheel bike? Here is your answer...

Not silly at all. I left myself enough room to pull to the side, which I always do. Honestly, my Navy training took over. When we do shock testing/training, we are taught to "brace for shock" by grabbing something and leaning in to it. When I looked in the side mirror and noticed her coming, my...

Spyder safer than a two-wheel bike? Here is your answer...

First things first...I'm okay. Battered and bruised. Incredibly sore, but alive. Posted this on the Can AM Spyder FB page as well. If anyone wonders whether the Spyder is truly safer than a two wheel bike, I am living proof. Walked away from this yesterday. Released from the hospital after 8...

New RT-S handled the Dragon perfectly!

Saw a bunch of other Spyders and they did great also. Talked to one lady from Florida who has 30k on her 2012 RTL and she rydes coast to coast. She said it does great. Did notice the VSS kick on a few times on the big curves when I had the wheels pegged to the side. A bit of wheel squeal but the...

New RT-S handled the Dragon perfectly!

I know right? I was going great, averaging about 35 mph until I came up to the bikes - then it was 25. Still fun though.

New RT-S handled the Dragon perfectly!

Normal speed is 17 minutes and 14 GB so I have to edit it down to a few choice clips. Will do though. Cheers!

New RT-S handled the Dragon perfectly!

Great ride this weekend on The Tail of the Dragon! 2014 RT-S took the curves like a champ (not a bad rider either if I do say so myself).

Well, ordered the Ram X mount. Lifecase is a definite purchase also. Thanks for the advice. Not even at 1,000 miles yet so I'm still figuring out all the fun tweaks I can do with the :spyder2:! Loving it so far. Thanks for the tips folks! Cheers
