• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Rear Tire Size is needed to correct the speedo?

A 215/60/15 keeps my speedo within 1 mph of my GPS :) and usually it matches the GPS.

. Back in the late 1980's my sister and husband took me to a Gallagher stand up show with his famous Sledge-O-Matic watermelon opener. Well we were in the front row and when Gallagher swung his sledge hammer at that watermelon I ducked. The broken watermelon missed us but covered the table...

Woke up to 12°F with wind chill in the middle single digits. High today expected in the lower 20's. Yesterday did get up to 25°F so I went for an hour long ride. Roads were dry, but the snow from recent falls was still all around to admire. Not many folks out driving either. lol. We had some...

Your Weather News @ February Edition 2025

Here in North Alabama, the weatherman tells us we are low on rainfall for the year, but expect the 4-7" of rain over the next 4 days to help just a little bit. Overcast now with some light drizzling. Temps staying in the '40's. I was hoping the rain would hold off for 1/2 a day because an...

Your Weather News @ February Edition 2025

Today's high in the mid 60's and just a little chance of scattered rain. We had several inches of rain several weeks ago and it seems to have made it to all the streams and creeks. I do enjoy seeing water in motion running down rivers and creeks. The low today is 58°F. Great riding weather...

Your Weather News @ January Edition 2025 (Updated)

Little overcast in the upper 30's. Warming up to 60 this afternoon. Great riding weather. No rain due today, but some scattered rain in a day or two, yet similar weather for the following week! I up in 85 miles yesterday after doing an oil change and it was a great ride. I'll be busy riding...

Thinking of getting a floor jack - how hard is it to find the right place to lift?

You didn't ask, but if you purchase a floor jack, get one that is "low profile". The older floor jacks sit an inch or two higher and will not slide under the Spyder. It is not a problem at all placing the jack under the Spyder for correct lifting. Typically, after I lift the Spyder, I place...
