• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Rear Axle Torquing

Have been trying to align and tension the drive belt after replacing rear tire. Very frustrating experience, because as soon as I start to torque the axle nut, the adjustment seems to change. Noticed the belt near the left edge of pulley. Jacked the Spyder up, loosened the axle, lined up the...

    Air hawk

Had one for about six months now. Like it very much. Price is quite a hurdle, but turns out to be worth it. I've got a real bony butt, and this eases it considerably. Good luck, John

    Beads or no beads?

I just installed a Kumho Solus on the rear. Pulled wheel myself and took to local auto repair. He charged me all of $10 to mount! Couldn't balance as center hole too small for his machine. He advised against beads, so I took a chance with no balancing. Rode today for 50+ miles and she's...

    how to remove rear wheel

Jusr used the video'd technique on mine. Put on a new Kumho Solus. Everything worked well, but lossening the fasteners was the toughest part for me. Whatever thread locker they used was a bear! But the techique worked well, and the belt was aligned perfectly when reassembled. Recommend it...

    Tank bag/Map holder

Just to put some closure on this topic, after all your valuable feedback and a lot of thought, I think I will reuse an old TourMaster tank bag I've had for 20 years. It's magnetic mount, but with a foam waffle underneath and a couple of Velcro straps, I think it will be secure enough. Thanks...

    Tank bag/Map holder

Quick search on Nelson Rigg site says that bag will not fit RT. Can Am bag is for RS only. Hopnel bag too small to display a map. Keep the ideas coming, folks. Thanks, John

    Front Tire Choices?

Recently installed a pair of Kumho Ecstas. Like the look, ride, overall feel. Too new to evaluate mileage. From limited experience, I'd recommend them. John

    Tank bag/Map holder

Starting to plan a trip on my 2014 RTS SE6 - full length of the Natchez Trace Parkway. NPS has a wonderful map, which I would like to display on the top of my tank. Anyone found a good tank bag with map pocket or just a map holder? Tried a search and 'tank bag' got me lengthy discussions on...
