• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Switching between Spyder and motorcycle

I can RELATE! Once, when switching to my Two Wheeler (I call it disadvantaged due to the lacking of the third wheel), I tried to down shift with my RIGHT FOOT!! I felt strange because the bike was jerking and the lever wasn't "clicking" through the gears. I ended up coasting to a stop and...

Why hasn't BRP/Can Am looked at a Full automatic transmission for Spyders?

It's actually a CVT (continuously variable Transmision). Quite a different animal. CVTs can have there own problems. But they do make driving easy.

F3 Series Line-X Aluminium Riders Floorboards

Another vote for the Ultimate Floorboards. The Spyder actually belongs to my Wife and she had a great deal of trouble mounting and dismounting. The Ultimate Floorboards solved that as well as giving her MANY options for foot position. She can even stand up fully while riding! She has them in...

    Sideways wind

I have a modular and find it to be noisy. I think the extra seams around the chin guard tend to make noise in the wind, especially side wind. I think my next helmet will be full face. Any helmet will increase the surface area of your head and I think that may make the affect of the wind...

    7jurock on F3S - anyone have a 27inch w/screen?

Nope! It would need to be a few inches taller to look through it. Hence, the extension. The cheap one works OK, but not great. That's why I have a piece of 3/16 thick clear acrylic coming soon to make a custom extension from that will hopefully work out quite well. Stay Tuned!!

    7jurock on F3S - anyone have a 27inch w/screen?

I bought it for my wife just over a month ago. We LOVE those Ultimate Floorboards!! Best mod I've made so far. My wife can now climb on and off easily and I love being able to move my feet around or even stand up momentarily while riding. The windshield has been a bit of a learning...

    7jurock on F3S - anyone have a 27inch w/screen?

Here it is with a cheap chineese extension I'm going to make my own extension soon, but this help with helmet noise for now.

    7jurock on F3S - anyone have a 27inch w/screen?

UPDATE; So... I tried making some 1" thick spacers from Black Delrin. I think the turbulence on my helmet actually got worse, definitely not any better. That seems to indicate to me that the angle is already at the best position for the height of the windscreen and the only way to improve...

    7jurock on F3S - anyone have a 27inch w/screen?

I recently installed the 7Jurock 27" windscreen on my F3. It's better than the BRP Blue Ridge I had before but, I would like it to be a couple inches taller. The extra width is nice though. I'm 5'8" and find that the wind hits the very top of my Helmet at 50+ MPH and gets pretty loud at 70...

    F3 Console Switch hole size.

Hey All, I'm new here, loving my brand new F3. Actually I bought it for my wife, but I get to break it in while she goes through the process of getting her endorsement. I'm going to have a hard time letting her have it back!!:sour: I have a simple question. I want to order a switch to mount...
