• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have you had any issues with your 2024 Spyder's Brake fluid?

FWIW, I just performed the first brake flush on our 2023 RT and was impressed by how dark the fluid was. We have about 13K miles it, from a large variety driving conditions.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Which bar? I started to mount our x5 on the Pillion hand grip bars, but the rubber coating there doesn't make me feel confident that the camera won't be moving around a lot.

My Spyder was pulled out of the corner of the garage back in early Feb and positioned to perform some maintenance and upgrades. Installed the JBi front shocks that Ron and Daniel (BajaRon) helped to develop. Performed a brake flush and installed Speed bleeders. Installed wiring for warming gear...

One of our OEM rotors warped pretty shortly after we got our Spyder, so I converted the fronts to EBC last spring before a big trip. We pulled a trailer around Lake Erie with lots of fun stops along the way. The brakes saved our a$$es one evening at dusk when two deer jumped out of a ditch along...

Upgrading front shocks; what's the difference between Elka and BajaRon??

I sent a DM to Ron asking a very similar question and he took the time to respond with quite a bit of detail. Maybe he'll see your question and reply here as well.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Got the oil change completed, checked the air filter, coolant level and quality then rolled her over into the corner of the garage until I'm ready to do the winter mods. We ordered warming gear today taking advantage of Cyber Monday savings at The Warming Store.
