• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    NE Georgia Service?

We live in Jasper,Ga and haven't had our 2010 RS-S serviced locally yet. This site recommends the Dealer in Cartersville although I cannot speak for them personally. Soon I will. Good Luck:ohyea:

    Dealer setup and freight

It's easy to price chase with little effort thanks to the internet :thumbup:and with a variety of charges from Dealers it's worth it. $saving $1300.00 is not pocket change to me :D but to each his own. I work hard for my money and don't waste it on padding someones pocket if I can avoid it by...

    Dealer setup and freight

It's True!!:2thumbs: We purchased our new 2010 RS-S at Central Florida Powersports June 3rd. We got a discount off suggested MSRP and paid a $99 Dealer fee + tax. We live in North Ga and got it while on vacation saving $1300 out the door as compared to what a local Dealer would offer. I even...

    How Far?

We left the dealer with 1 mile on the odometer and have gotten a consistent 31 mpg, over a 1000 miles now in a little over 2 weeks. When we fuel it seems it always takes 5.5 gal or close to it. I was asking myself the same ? I figured about another 50 miles at the least surely enough to get to a...

    Break In Period

Good advice you have been given. I found the break in section in the owners manual. But a standard I have been told for any new motorcycle is not over 55 for first 100 miles no hard acceleration or braking for 300 miles lol read owners manual :2thumbs::roflblack::spyder:

I just want to be honest and forthcoming.

:chat: Remember! Spyders are relatively new. I am sure Honda, Suzuki, etc. had to work out a few bugs. It takes a while to develop a motorcycle from a 4 wheeler. Finding a qualified tech at a qualified dealer seems to be a challenge. If a tech cannot answer your question it is easier for them to...

    Personalizing the RS-S

That's kind of what we were leaning towards; painting one to match. It seems as if we have slightly differing opinions on how to modify it. I like the BRP backrest, he likes the donut hole Corbin ones; I want a one inch riser, he wants the 5 inch with the end piece risers, too..... So many...

    Riser size and/or type?

Ok, my husband and I are having a disagreement as to which would be the best type of risers. I agree that we need a little more height, but he wants to go with 5" or more!! I don't want my Spyder to look like a cruiser; I want to keep the original look and feel. He wants maximum comfort (he's a...

    BRP a front for AARP?

    My new 2010 RS Spyder

RSS Congrats, we picked up our RSS last friday. Love it, have already put 700 miles on it. Have asked if anyone had mods they could share of the white beauty, such as paint accents. None so far, would hate to take away from the white. But it is like an empty canvas, needs something subtle I...

    Georgia Roll Call

Have them look it up in NADA under motorcycles, it's listed. Hope it helps, we are returning from vacation with our new 2010 RS S heading to Jasper, Ga. Hope we don't run into the same problem.

Update: Purchased and returned - purchased again!!

As we previously posted, we had gone through a nightmare during our first purchase experience of the yellow/black 09 Spyder (used). The bike was returned, our money was returned, and we resumed our search. While on vacation in FL, we visited Central Florida Powersports in Kissimmee and found our...

    2010 rss

My Harley has a limited paint scheme 66 of 200. I had a bad scratch so they made me a new one with the same number. I had 45 days to return the scratched one or I would be billed $2500.00. I was just curious if BRP has the same type of standards when it comes to limited, but in BRP's defense I...
