• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Removing rear wheel on my Ryker?

Sounds like the hardest part was heading down to Ace Hardware and having to shell out ~$9.00 for a small pack of rivets that would have cost you $.50 anywhere else. :) Ace hardware is the only store in my town. While they carry a large assortment of knickknacks, bolts and screws, everything...

    Base model ryker became $11.3k

In Oregon, we pay $425 - $500 for title, license and registration on a new vehicles. We don't have a sales tax, but we do have an Oregon "Privilege" tax of .5% on vehicle purchases (yes, that's what they call it). So, you're looking at an extra $475 - $550 in fees over MSRP. Most dealers want...

    Base model ryker became $11.3k

The only fees one should consider paying are the taxes, license and registration fees. The delivery, setup and other BS/markup fees are pure profit. All new vehicles are sold to dealers well below the MSRP in order to cover destination and setup costs...

    I guess I'm a motorcycle guy

Regardless what you want to label them, 3 wheeled and 2 wheeled vehicles share very little in common when it comes to riding characteristics. Most states require a motorcycle endorsement for 3 wheeled vehicles simply because they don't have the allocated resources to offer a dedicated class for...

    I guess I'm a motorcycle guy

I bought the wife a Ryker, sold the C14 and "downsized" to a GSX-S1000F. It's 1/2 the weight, lower to the ground and similar HP to the Connie. I'm happy with my purchasing decision, but I still take the Ryker out for a spin once in a while. It's not a "motorcycle", but its a ton of fun to ryde.

    Make your own accessories!

FWIW, I own 3 3D printers: 1. Prusa MK3s 2. Creality Ender 3 Pro 3. Creality CR10s Pro The Prusa MK3s is my favorite printer; it's also the most expensive. 99.9% of the print jobs I send to it come out perfect. The Creality Ender 3 Pro is my second favorite printer. It's fairly reliable and...

    Make your own accessories!

Awesome job! Having a 3D printer is very handy. I use mine for all sorts of projects... Here's a headphone/jack mount I made for the Cardo Packtalk: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3598194 I also made a RAM mounting plate that affixes to the center of the stem/handlebars on the Ryker...

    Ryker Comfort seat installation?

No, I have the same comfort seat. The comfort seat has plastic clips that hold it in place. It simply pops on. The stock seat has foam/rubber tabs that hold it in place. You can rip it off, but you risk damaging the seat. To reinstall it, you must lift the pan.

    Speakers on a Ryker?

I bought the new Cardo Packtalk JBLs. They are pretty nice, but you're fighting noise with noise when using speakers in a helmet. I still prefer a good set of IEMs over the JBL speakers because they block out most of the wind noise. Plus, I don't have to turn up the volume as loud.
