• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone have one of the new Can Am Advex helmets?

I don’t find it especially quiet, nor that premium to be honest. It is however very comfortable and feels light enough for a modular. Note that it’s not a traditional chin bar, its part of the face shield but it does click locked when down. I kinda like that. Lots of room for speakers too.

Anyone have one of the new Can Am Advex helmets?

I have one, it's only been a week. It's the full face version, still not sure I made the right choice over the other version. I'm replacing a much cheaper HJC helmet. The difference from normal modular helmets is there's no chin bar, it's the full face shield that lifts up. Also notable is that...

Did anyone add that steering stabilizer/dampener to their Ryker?

I would go as far as saying the difference between the 2019 and 2022 Rally in terms of refinement is very similar to the differences between the 2019 and 2020+ RT (I had a 2016 and now a 2021). It’s the little things like less noise, better suspension and handling, less bottoming out, much...

Did anyone add that steering stabilizer/dampener to their Ryker?

I installed it. Here’s the thing: I used to have a 2019 rally with an F4 windshield. I sold it last year, but one of the issues I had was I didn’t like the feedback in the steering and with the weight of the F4 windshield, it made it worse. Fast forward to last August, regretting sellling my...

My Ryker is fun again - Buffeting gone

I had the buffeting with the F4 windshield as well as with the BRP adventure windshield. After removal of the wind deflectors it is 90% better with the BRP windshield and and i would say 50% better with the F4. Very unscientific of course. For me, the best combo is with the adventure windshield...

My Ryker is fun again - Buffeting gone

Been dealing with a buffeting issue for so long, shaking my head enough to give me headaches and ruining all the fun. All I know is it didn’t seem to be that way before, was it me becoming more sensitive to it? I tried different windshields, different heights, different helmets, no windshield...

Anyone know how to disconnect this plug?

I’ve been dealing with this problem for some time now. Be careful not to over tighten that hex screw like I did and crack the mount. No amount of lock tight would stop it from loosening.

Cluster bracket and windshield — Warning

Lol, in fact the wind pressure at speed is what kept it straight for my return home otherwise I had to hold it up with one hand for fear of loosing it all. Def weight and the fact that it’s held up by a single bolt at the pivot point. The good news is a new cluster bracket is surprisingly...

Cluster bracket and windshield — Warning

Not sure if anyone has had this problem already. I have the F4 customs windshield. Noticed the cluster was tilting due to the weight of the windshield, had to re-tighten the cluster bracket bolt a few times, but recently I hit a pretty bad pothole jerking the steering and the cluster went very...

    Another windshield question

I have the F4 windscreen on my Ryker. Night and day compared to the OEM one, can still access the glove box but it does interfere with the hand guard deflectors meaning you can push the handlebars all the way forward. Good coverage though, it’s great on the highway. Two things: It did not come...

    Off shift

I get that too, not sure if it’s only 3rd gear, but definitively under harder acceleration. Oil level is fine. I found if I ever slightly roll off during the shift I get butter smooth shifting. 2016 SE6.

    Corbin Seat

I just installed my new Corbin seat on my 2016 RTS. I bought it through Dynamic Cycle in Ontario they order it and ship it to anywhere in Canada which saves some money for customs fees. Shout out to them, I’m very happy with their service. Now, I have to say i’m not totally impressed in the...

Speaker Upgrade on RT - HOGTUNES

Reporting back after my first spring ride... this is very subjective, and it’s been 4 months since I rode with the OEM speakers, but I’m pretty sure there’s a significant difference. Definitively recommend the front upgrade. For the rear, given the amount of work, i’m not convinced. I have the...

Speaker Upgrade on RT - HOGTUNES

No update yet, it’s still winter up here so I have at least 2 more months to wait before I can try them. The grinding wasn’t all that bad, but the second one was a lot easier to do.

Speaker Upgrade on RT - HOGTUNES

I just finished doing this on my RT. Got the Hogtunes from Fortnine here in Canada for about $250 CDN. Fronts were very easy, but working with the Tupperware in the cold is not the best idea. I was able to slide the front speakers into place without too much disassembly but it required quite a...
