• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Bad Luck? =(

Well, I was supposed to get my bike back this weekend. They called to tell me it was done but kinda glazed over the fact that they didn't replace the ignition system. They did however fix the water pump seal. Called Friday to get a status and the guy told me they replicated my issue but they...

    Bad Luck? =(

My other half is concerned that my spyder isn't reliable after having these issues. Told him we just need to be checking the oil more often and just keeping an eye on the mechanical side of it. He's of the opinion that if you spend 23k on a new motorcycle you shouldn't have to nanny the bike to...

found oil in airbox before the first oil change, Richard took airbox off thinking we were going to have to move it to install juicebox, ended up not moving it. haven't checked since I did the oil change. Though I know what your talking about =) we made sure we followed the oil change suggestions...

    Bad Luck? =(

well, that reminds me... when we did the 500 mile oil change we noticed it was low on oil and that we had about 2 tablespoons of oil in the air box. richard just figured it was burning oil and was concerned about the oil in the air box. I asked the tech about the air box oil and he said don't...

    To Lift the Roadster

hey Doc when you get a chance, could you take a few measurements of the box frame for the wheels for me. I'm going to have a metal fab company make me this for my lifts. I know my adapter portion will be different than yours due to rack differences, but box frames should be the same. With that...

A spyder parked in a Harley Davidson Dealership...

Richards biggest complaint about the spyder is that no matter where we go everyone asks about the spyder, wants to talk to me, and doesn't look at his custom harley or custom built racing CBR. =) I keep telling him its probably because its a girl on a bike more than the spyder itself. I hardly...

A spyder parked in a Harley Davidson Dealership...

My other half is a twos biker and had been hem hawing on buying a new harley for the last few weeks. His 06 road glide custom had started becoming an issue and with him being a mechanic, every little tweaking chrome rattle was driving him crazy. So, we go down to the smoky mountain harley...

    Phil's 2014 (neww) DARTH Mods

Oh I've learned a lot since starting this project. I've taught myself how to solder the wires together, I did give up an have a company solder wire leads to my strips and have jst connectors and then bought those connectors to solder onto my "wire bus harness " which runs down both sides of the...

    To Lift the Roadster

Could you take a few measures of the box frame so I can give the fab shop a good starting point? I showed my other half the photos and he said "how much does he want for that? I'll buy it..." 😀

    To Lift the Roadster

well, i know what i'm doing this weekend. Going to the metal fab shop and telling them to make me this for my shop. Been looking at doing some mods to my alignment rack to get the spyder up there, but i like the simplicity of this. Much easier to store than another ramp and rolling jack system...

    Check engine light 2014 rss

Dealership said it was the juice box. This makes the third time the juice box has thrown codes. Time to burn the juice box. I'll never put it back on.
