• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a lift table with trike extensions. How would I go about lifting the RTL to install this puppy? Thanks in advance for your sage advice. :)

    Newbie Question re Vibration

Thanks for the feedback. The vibration happens in 6th gear, at around 70-73 mph but only going uphill.

    Newbie Question re Vibration

I'm still new to the Spyder, having had my RTL for 3 months and a little over 1,500 miles. I notice something that may or may not be a problem. On the interstate, if I start up a hill, there is a vibration that I think comes from the drivetrain. As soon as I crest the hill, the vibration...

    Newb...first group ride

Like the original poster, I too did my first "spirited" session with my regular riding buddy. We did a little over 260 miles of mostly windy roads. Early in the day, I was breathing down his neck and honestly had to back off to keep from running over him. As the day wore on, though, I got...

    New RT Passeneger Armrests

Please excuse this newbie question, but I'm curious about the armrests. Don't the armrests inhibit the ability of the passenger to shift their body weight to the inside of the turns? To my "new to Spyders" mind, it looks like the passenger would become essentially a sack of potatoes, dead...

Advice and suggestions for curves and Twisties?

That's great news, because my Wing was awesome in the twisties for a big bike. The Harley, not so much. LOL

Advice and suggestions for curves and Twisties?

I know that the rider's experience level plays a huge part, but just generally, how does the Spyder stack up to the GW or a Harley on the twisties? Is it about the same, a total dog, or somewhere in between? Assume riders of equal experience on both machines. Thanks!

    F3 or RT?

Thanks everyone. Great advice and words of wisdom and experience. My current ride is a HD Road Glide Custom. Before that it was a GL1800 and FJR1300. Both knees are shot, so the upright position and footpegs on the Wing didn't work. The Harley is much more comfortable. Just starting to...

    F3 or RT?

Hi guys, I'm a newbie here. I am only starting to look for our Spyder and I'm trying to decide between the F3 and the RT. I like the styling and reduced "Tupperwear" on the F3 and I'm coming from a Harley so the seating position would seem to be comfortable. We live in NC and run the...
