• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When is the Price of gas going to stop rising?

For sure, and once they do and the infrastructure can't support them and it has to be increased in size and quantity the scumsuckers will cry they need to increase price to support them. Problem being the ones that don't have electric vehicles either because they can't afford them of just don't...

When is the Price of gas going to stop rising?

Ours in NS went up by 11 cents a liter yesterday, went up again last nite by 6.6 cents It'll be at CAN$1.84 a liter. That'll be US$ 5.00 per US gallon

Am I ordering from the best OEM PARTS Sources?

Something like that I'd be tempted to try a hydraulic supply.

Questioning wearing Ear Plugs while riding

I actually use the foam plugs and like them. I know on my Voyager which had a lot higher windshield, I could hear the radio a lot better using earplugs. My Spyder since it has a lot lower windshield and no radio, they block the windnoise substantially. When I was still working I had the custom...

2012 RSS brakes locked up - can I just remove the top of the Master Cylinder to clean the Return Port?

Any chance the return spring (if there is one) is busted? Not familiar with the ABS system so possibly that? The actual piston of the brake valve is sticking in the bore? The latter seems like more of a chance if the fluids old and saturated with moisture. Other that the reservoir and the pedal...

When is the Price of gas going to stop rising?

Our gas is supposed to drop CAN$ 0.11 cents a liter tonite so that'll put it at CAN$ 1.67 a liter. Not as good as it was before all this crap started but hopefully it'll keep dropping.

Have you seen the Outrageous cost of Spyder accessories!?!

Remember, a bike is only the down payment for the accessories :-)

When is the Price of gas going to stop rising?

Ours actually dropped a bit last week. Funny how it never seems to drop as fast as it goes up. Excuse being, " Well we have to use up the crude oil that we bought at a higher price" but it doesn't apparently work the same way going up. Fuel price in Nova Scotia as of April-17-26: Gas CAN$ 1.78L...

Maybe needs a new battery?? - 2014 Spyder RT SE6

Either a bad battery or bad connection somewhere is my guess and not being able to do any actual tests, that all it is, a guess. I use the analogy of you can have 9-1.5V C cells in series and they'll read 13.5V on multimeter but they don't have the capacity i.e. amperage to turn over the bike. I...

Ditto here too, never did and never will.

Battery Drain and Failed 11 Month Old Yuasa Battery - anyone know what the installed current draw is?

I've always left my tender on all winter on any bike I've owned. Same as my generator, my ZT, and my diesel lawn tractor. Just replaced the battery in my tractor after 7 years I think it was, don't know how long the previous owner had it. My ZT, which uses a small lawn tractor battery, is on...

Do I need to do a Spring oil change if I did one in Fall before Winter storage?

Same opinion as Knizar. I changed mine roughly the same amount or maybe a bit less in the Fall before I packed it up for the Winter. Also did the brake fluid. I actually change all my oils in the Fall so that everything's ready to go come Spring, on the wood splitter ZT, mower... My theory is to...

Any foreseeable problems or concerns with this Trailer Hitch Suspension?

The top of the bolt isn't supported, correct? Least ways in the pic it looks like it isn't. I'd be concerned about the bending force applied to the 1/4" thick tab the bolt is fastened thru. It'd be even worse when the tow hitch is at the top of its stoke i.e. when the bike's rear tire drops into...

Anybody else rounded off the hex Oil filter cap? Any tips to remove?

I'd be worried about the grooves the wrench puts in the cap. Maybe run it for awhile to warm it up before trying it may help a bit? I'd also be concerned about how much stress is it putting on the actual cannister, forcing it apart/open. I asked awhile ago what the thoughts were about putting a...
