• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Iteresting pics of a Spyder wanna-be

When they put an extended swingarm on them they use an idler gear system (or jackshaft) in between. So the chain isn't that long. But mostly to allow the use of a fat tire. So a chain goes from the transmission to the idler, then another chain from the outside idler to the rear sproket. Look...

Iteresting pics of a Spyder wanna-be

I'd be interested in finding out more about the mod kits. Then I could make all my other bikes look like the Sypder.:D

Iteresting pics of a Spyder wanna-be

I found some better pictures. Also it's a Suzuki Hayabusa. Then there is this one with the first one in the background.

Iteresting pics of a Spyder wanna-be

I was cruising another forum and came across these pictures. I thought it looked pretty good for a custom. Gives me some ideas of possibilities.

    What's wrong with this picture(s)?

Everyone keeps talking about leaning. The difference between a bike and the Spyder is that you don't lean with a bike but you do with the Spyder. The bike leans and inertia pushes you down on it. You have to lean into turns on the Spyder to stay on it. Like driving your car and leaning your head...

    sprockets

My concerns with a different sprocket are that it will change the speedometer reading and that the VSS will think something is messed up and kick in. I'm not sure where the speedometer gets it's reading from? I think it would be neat to change the tires sizes but that would mess it up too...

"JUST DROVE A CAN AM "TRIKE" AND HATED IT. "

Nice answer, as to not incriminate yourself. :cop: It was obvious from his reply about doing 60mph and then liking it better at 52mph that he's afraid of speed. I'd hate 60mph too if I couldn't find 3rd gear!!! He should have just let his wife ride him around and enjoy the view. I notice that...

"JUST DROVE A CAN AM "TRIKE" AND HATED IT. "

Hey Lamont, How fast were you going in your Deal Gap videos that you posted? I heard you squeal the tires once while slowing down. ;D It looked like a fun time riding.

It looks interesting but the link to purchase didn't work. So it made me wonder how expensive this is?

    New saddle bags

Also can you take a pick of what they look like open? Your pictures are big enough to see. When I went to their web site the pictures there weren't much bigger than thumbnails. What did the whole setup run? They look great without the outrageous cost of the Corbins. Thanks!

    COLD FEET

If you can't wait for an SE5 then pick up a SM5 and enjoy it now. Then when production finally catches up you can get one. They put mine off for a while, it was supposed to be a month ago. They finally called and let me know they had 2 yellows in but no word on a silver one. I have decided to...

    Lamonster Hand Brake

No, there is only the one brake on the bike and it does all the brakes. Adding a hand brake just gives you the option of using it to stop instead of the foot brake. When I ask the reps at the demo ride why only a foot brake they said the ABS pulses and freaks people out when they felt it in...
