• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Well, they're car tires, so... sidewall says max 40 psi, and since air pressure is a function of weight, I run 34 psi front and rear. Your mileage may vary...

    I found that running 30psi in the fronts cured a lot of the understear at lower pressure (24psi).

    Agreed. Somewhat. As long as the sidewall hasn't cracked, they're okay. Still, replace asap. Which is now.

    I've had 2 RLD's on 2 different bikes. Wife loved hers. I hated mine. Even after a redo, it sucked.

    RT 1330 - are your mpg's comparable to mine??

    Mrs. Curmudgeon and I ran a 200-mile day a few days ago. I was running 89 octane no-ethanol, and I got 40 mpg. Mind you, I was riding it pretty calmly so the Mrs. doesn't smack me on the back of the head. Still, love this mo-chine!

    Ordered a set of new Kenda's for my new-to-me 2014 RT SM6 before I researched alternative car tires here. My RT has 6,000 miles on the original tires. A new rear tire has 11/32" of tread. At 6,000 miles the OE Kenda was down to 4/32". That's trash in my book! Ordered car tires from Tire Rack...

    That wear pattern is indicative of too much air pressure. It "ballooned" the middle. Forget the tire mfg recommendations. You're only 1/4th the weight of a car.
