• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Texas Trike Reunion

Would like to be there, George, but wife and I will be in Ireland at that time. I also have a cognac 2014 RTL which I rode in 2015 Rolling thunder with a group from Boerne led by someone you may know: Mike Godwin of Hill Country H.O.G. If you know him, say hi to Mike for me. We are still just...

Need some opinions. Trade up or not

I regret giving up the Lava Bronze w/Antler Brown Seat, too I am regretfully giving up my Lava Bronze w/Antler Brown saddle and that is partly the reason I debated the trade as long as I did. It has gotten many compliments from total strangers on trips. I'll also have to get my previously...

Need some opinions. Trade up or not

It's not just the mpg I bought my 2013 RT Limited in May 2013. Loved it. Tomorrow I ride it to the dealer to trade it in on a 2014. Why? I test drove the 2014 at Durango and told myself I deserved it. Yes, I expect better mileage but that's not the primary motivation. Even though I have...

FOLLOW UP TO 2014 OIL LEAK.

Head Knocking over Leaky Engine I would HOPE there is some "head knocking" going on but BRP's record of apparent "tone deafness" to some Spyder issues in the past doesn't make me confident.

    cat pipe

Replaced cat with bypass Had my cat replaced with a LaMonster style bypass on my 2013 RT Limited. Reduced heat under the seat (it's still noticeable, though), increased mileage and responsiveness at lower RPM (thus probably better torque from the reduced back pressure) and a throatier sound...

BRP Spyder investigation started. What will happen?

Proportion is not percent The number 0.001346 is the proportion (10/7429). The percent is 0.1346% which is between one seventh and one eighth of one percent.

Time to vent and ask a question...or two....

A Good Name in Colorado A previous post mentioned an unnamed dealer in Colorado selling the extended warranty for $899. I just took delivery of a 2013 RT limited last Thursday and paid $749 for the BRP US Inc 36 month extension to 5 years. Naturally I can't address service yet but they seem...

    Hello Colorado Spyder ryders

Hi, Sue We moved here to "Beuney" last August from southeast New Mexico so we know how it "should" be pronounced but learned that the origin of their "peculiar" pronunciation goes back to when the town was founded and one of the town's most influential matrons insisted that because the area was...

    Hello Colorado Spyder ryders

Returning to Ryde Hello to all. After a 30+ year hiatus from motorcycles (spent a full month in hospital in Philippines after crash back then before being considered well enough to be MEDEVAC'd back to the U.S. for further reconstructive surgery), my wife encouraged me to look into returning...

    I hate Rolling Thunder...

Good Lord! I was in 23 years but when it looked like my next set of orders was going to be either unaccompanied to Seoul, Korea, or more probably, the Pentagon, I decided to retire. I had occasionally had to take the CINCLANT helo up from Norfolk before and saw enough on those visits to know...
