• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Traded my 2019 Ryker Rally for a New Canyon Standard - First Impressions

Yes, interestingly it makes the Can-Am bags not handed unlike the standard SHAD bags. Can-Am only uses the top and front mounts. That might be why they don't offer the larger bags as well, with one less mounting point.

Can you feel any Difference in the Suspension between an XT and a RedRock Canyon?

Hi, it sounds like you've ridden the XT and the RedRock - I'm trying to weigh up if it's worth the extra for the active ride? Did the XT lean 'out' more during tight turns - the constant problem these trikes have. I'm concerned that making the machine & rider taller will increase the issue - as...

Smart Shock Suspension on Canyon Redrock makes a big difference.

Hi, I'm evaltuing whether the Redrock is worth getting for the semi active suspension. When you say 'Curved roads and feeling a lean on my bike. Did not have that in my 2024 F3T'... do you mean the Canyon leaned less or more than your F3? Could you feel the active ride stiffening it up in...

Traded my 2019 Ryker Rally for a New Canyon Standard - First Impressions

Oh that's a shame, but thanks for testing the theory. Yes Amazon is useful for that (y) So is it this part that's too wide? The gap between the flip out LinQ mountings does look quite narrow: Ok, here's the part that's different, the Canyon version has more angled ends to make the middle...

Traded my 2019 Ryker Rally for a New Canyon Standard - First Impressions

Thanks for the write-up. I'm thinking of getting the base version as well here in the UK. The extra for the XT is thousands more than the extras I would want to add. One thing I have noticed from studying videos is that the bag mounting looks to be standard SHAD layout, with nothing specific...

Is this Torque for rear brake caliper bolts too high?

I couldn't agree more. I find all this torque settings chat funny, I think some people just like to be told what to think. Bit like all the tyre pressure threads............ Obviously sone things need to have a setting, like a cylinder head bolt, or the sprocket. But for most things do it...

    Nanny and Kanines

I too find a little higher PSI (than the accepted norm) in the front helps with grip and cornering in general. I run at 20 PSI with the standard kendas on my F3-S and corner quite hard on our twisty roads.

    Pedal commander vs PV3 tuner

Right I get you now. I got into the fuelmoto site at last (and no licking required :opps:) and see that they charge an extra $250 for their maps and licence. But then you get their maps and not just the Dynojet ones. So $400 for the PV3 on it's own +$250 for the fuelmoto maps. Some food for...

    Pedal commander vs PV3 tuner

Ah ok, thanks for the info. That seems very reasonable at $400 all in, I'd prefer that to removing the ECM and sending it Monster Fuel in Canada. I'll have to e-mail them to see if they've got euro spec maps - we have the 79T sprocket on our F3s and it has a specific map.

    Pedal commander vs PV3 tuner

Hi, thanks for the write up on the PV3 and the links to the knowledge articles. Really interesting. I'm still a little confused as to the relationship between the different companies. So Dynojet make the PV3 but Fuelmotousa have created the maps? Or are they one and the same? Can you buy...

    2019 F3-S Passenger seat loose

Mine is the same - I think it's due to the rider backrest pushing it backwards. It's forward / backward movement in the seat so I'm not sure the locking bolt adjustment would help - but I'm happy to be corrected? Does tightening that up help to keep the push fit tabs (I don't know how else to...

In the UK that would be the bonnet, same in Oz?

    Trouble shifting into reverse

There have been issues over the years with the gear position sensor, one MY had a recall for it due to contamination. That can cause shifting issues. This thread has some other suggestions including tapping the shift paddle twice...

    Indoor Breathable storage cover

This made me laugh as our cat was adopted from this exact circumstance. My bike lives outdoors under a cover and when I came to check on it a few winters ago I saw a ginger blur and found a stray cat had been sleeping on the seat. We started feeding it and eventually he's become our cat...
