• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is the High pitched whine after shut down normal?

I never owned an F3 but I'd hear a high pitched whine every time I'd shut down either of my RTs. Turns out the whine was coming from me.

Moving to NC: Test for License and Endorsement Transfer?

I moved to NC about 6 years ago from Indiana. I had a motorcycle endorsement in IN and it transferred down here. No questions asked and no additional tests to take.

What's the difference between a CVT and an eCVT? Please Explain??

I currently drive a 2021 Honda HRV w/a CVT. No power and I detest the CVT. As I'm looking for my next vehicle, I'm seeing a few vehicles that advertise an eCVT. I watched a video where some tech was showing the innards of the eCVT and only saw gears and no belt. I was hoping an eCVT was...

What's the difference between a CVT and an eCVT? Please Explain??

I'm looking for my next car and have some questions about a CVT v an eCVT. I'm probably going to end up with a sporty 4dr sedan (think Hyundai Elantra N or something similar). I do NOT want a manual. I can drive them just fine but I don't want to mess w/shifting my own gears (unless it's via...

I d/l'ed this pic from the forum but didn't pay attention to who it belongs to. If you can identify it, could I have more info on the windscreen and the trunk/saddlebag set up, please? Thank you, sir or ma'am. MONK

So called "Weather Balloon" - what are your thoughts??

China said it was a weather balloon. Why would they lie? I'm sure they're telling the truth. Just positive. Ya know, more or less positive. Sort of positive. Maybe.

my cardiologist appointment, not that any of you should care.

Good on you, SLICE! Way to go! I've weighed about 300# for years. If I don't lose some weight in the next few years, I probably won't have an additional few years.

    Google maps has failed me.

I can't speak for Waze but you can d/l your Google route to use offline. I've done it many times since I've tended (at least in the last 6 years) to ride in the mountains where cell service is spotty. Doing it that way won't allow an automatic reroute if you get stuck on a detour but it's better...

Apple Car Play or Android Auto for Your Spyder

With cell phones getting bigger and bigger, why not just mount your phone to the dash/handlebars? If you're riding all day, you'll need to plug in your phone to keep it charged anyway.

    Sadly, I can't fly...

Or, you don't need a parachute to skydive. You DO need one to skydive twice.

You didn't say you tried to fly again. Quitter.
