• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Question for Canadian riders

Liability insurance is extra whether you are registering a car or a bike. I don't know how anyone under 25 can afford to ride a bike in Quebec ....oh yeah I forgot...that's the point of those high fees :gaah: Quebec benefits from no fault insurance (there's another debate !) so there is a high...

    Question for Canadian riders

Justin, I just wanted to clear up something you mentioned in your post - the Spyder is in fact registered as a motorcycle in Quebec. The government only dispensed with the need for a motorcycle endorsement to drive the Spyder. I wonder if their motivation ;) for determining that the Spyder...

    Farewell my friends...

Farewell my friends... I've decided to sell Lil' Pumpkin :yikes: She's being "adopted" by a soon to be 2-Spyder family. I've had the opportunity to put 20 000 km on my Spyder in less than two years and for the most part I must say it was a hoot! The steering scare I experienced in May...

    my Spyderfest pictures - enjoy!

I attended Spyderfest in Magog last weekend and much like everyone else commented so far I was also impressed with the overall organization of the event. I could only spend a few hours there (arriving late and leaving early) but at least I was able to take part in the parade and Lil Pumpkin...

Fatal Spyder Collision in Quebec yesterday

    Warranty Question

I delayed purchasing the extended BEST warranty as long as I could - but in the end I caved ! My husband is very handy and can fix anything under the sun - but I would still have to shell out $$$ for parts. The extended warranty I am sure will pay for itself in the end for the cost of parts...
