• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2009 Spyder GS/RS: Possible Steering Problem...(need input)

Back in 10/11 there was a recall on the Spyders due to a faulty power steering unit that would try to steer on its own. BRP recalled the bad units and replaced them. It was kinda funny I was on my way to have the recall done when mine went bad and it was spooky. You might check with BRP and...

    Drag Races Are On!!!

I'm afraid if you start having classes other than models you are opening a whole bag of worms. There is too many things that can be performance mods that you would have to have a team of Techs to determine the class. I doubt there is very many true stock Spyders on the road. I vote for keep it...

    Drag Races Are On!!!

Actually I believe all the early V-Twinkies were 998 various years and models did list at different horsepowers but I think it was due to tuning or maybe sandbagging HP for insurance purposes. I do have a time slip somewhere from this track in either 13 or 14 for 13.71 on an 08 GS, now if I can...

    Spyderfest Drag Races...

I do think if this does happen, it should be limited to 1/8 mile runs the Spyder kinda mellows out above 80 MPH making it a little boring acceleration wise past the 1/8. Plus I have heard you have to stand on the brakes pretty hard after the 1/4 mile to may the turn around at Rodgerville.

    Spyder Jam 2017

Sorry we once again missed this, seems every year something drug us out of state during Spyder Jam, thought it was going to be a go this year and then this stupid bypass surgery came up and we were busy getting prepared. What do you see in your mirror..??

Actually I was surprised he was able to run highway speeds and he never had any problem keeping up with me, of course I'm a pretty tame rider :roflblack: Really it worked well and I was impressed But what do I know I'm the one that built the V8 Trike. As for the video Joe I suspect I lost it in...

    RS v F3 drag race

Look at the reported numbers were when the GS was being sold compared to what Brp said the numbers were for the GS once they started selling the F3! I believe there was some moderate short track testing n 2015,
