• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Squeaky brakes

I figured. thats typically what i do with the brakes on all my cars. now I'll have to get the socket to remove the wheels first. not too worried about it until its time to change pads tho.

    Squeaky brakes

I also have the squeaky brakes. washing and hard braking will sometimes help but they always come back. idk what would fix it other than changing pads.

    First wash (coin-op type)

I've seen this mentioned a few times. Can you explain a little better what you're referring to? Are you saying even with the lock engaged and the transmission set to "neutral" that it will still roll? Because mine does not function that way and will still remain locked.

Ryker 900 stock spring adjustment. (Help)

like i said youll need a spanner to adjust the settings, and it will require a fair bit of effort. when you move it to the next position you will definitely know lol. youll feel it "give way" and probably hear a loudish clank noise if you havent released tension from the spring. also not sure...

    Parking brake lock

funny you mention falling off. recently the parking lock on mine fell out while riding. the cylinder actually popped out when i must've hit a hard bump. the lock housing was still there cause its bolted in but the cylinder flew right out of the hole. it was a year old and was replaced by...

Ryker 900 stock spring adjustment. (Help)

i think there are 6 settings for adjustment. you'll need a spanner wrench to turn the collar to adjust. i think the manual says to set it at the stiffest setting of 6 when you ride 2 up. also suggests you install the 2up spring. edit: others are correct that you have it set at the lowest...

545 mile Cedar Breaks, Bryce Canyon, Zion ride photos

Nice pics. reminds me of when i was there a few years ago. is everything still open during this time? like can i climb angels landing and get into the narrows and go down into bryce?looks like you hit all the signs and might have been on the upper trail in bryce. how about the north rim of the...

    Key question

this is exactly the way it goes for me. never forget to put the key in but always forget to take it out. its from getting used to cars with keyless fobs. btw anyone have a source for keychain balls for the can am keys besides the expensive one at slingmods?

    Ryker rear fender “luggage” provisions

i was skeptical of this when i first saw you trying it. looks pretty good tho

    Being seen

I have these too. They are very bright and work well to add visibility. you can also see the glow from the rear which helps since it's not a common sight to see. I also installed the brake light flasher from slingmods and think that helps when coming to a stop and having inattentive drivers...

    Ryker owners happy with Kendas?

3500 miles on the ryker 900 kendas. no problems, still plenty of tread left. sometimes drive it fast. sometimes too much throttle at stops and tire squeals.

    Better tires

My tires have been fine on my 900. only thing ive noticed is theyll break loose when accelerating to fast from a stop.

    6000 mile check up.

This is my dealer and they told me about the 6k mile check. I think the price for it was 200 to 300 dollars. I'd have to dig out my paperwork but it includes oil change and a few other things.

    Improving visability...light upgrades?

all other bulbs on the ryker besides the headlights are leds so not much to upgrade. you would have to add more
