• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

getting close to decision time....need some input for those who have driven an F3-L and RTL

You can mod both rides to fit you. I would try to find a F3 you can take out for a test drive, the footrests can be pushed out for your long legs, have them show you that feature, of course they may not have a brake rod the right length to make the brake pedal right, but they can get one. It's...

2012 RT Brake failure and parking brake lights stay on - any ideas?

I had a problem after my first brake job years ago with my 2012, I can't remember what I did to piss it off, but someone chimed in and told me that move, and it solved my problem! Good Luck hope it helps!

2012 RT Brake failure and parking brake lights stay on - any ideas?

Is your fluid in the res up to snuff, and the floats are up it their holders? Have you done a brake job on your bike before you had this problem, brake flush anything? You may need to do a reset on the brake pressure switch. Turn your key off, wait 30 sec, turn key on step down on your brake...

Did an upgrade Sway Bar improve your handling? Which one? And what about Shocks?

If you're doing curves with your cruise on, they were not heavy curves I hope!!! Don't really think I would do that myself; I like full control of my destiny threw the rhubarb!! 🙃 🫣Did you get some shocks while you were there?

The oil plug- Murphy showed up today.

And some time a few LIGHT taps on the head of the bolt before you turn it will break up the crust of the dried oil between the seating surfaces also.

What's with the Herky Jerky on first cold start-up of each day? Any thoughts?

The only down fall of using a tender on a battery like that is it will give you a faults idea of the real shape of your battery in my way of thinking, it some time you may get it started just fine, don't seeing the tell-tale sign of a slow start, get out there and stop for some reason or another...

    East Tenneessee Spyder Ryders

Wow that post, and the thread it began, was started in 2016!! There is a great group of people in Tennessee who jumped in to tell her there are riders in the area ready to ride!!! I was down there this Spring, and I can say that seeing your area on the back of my Spyder was the best way...

What's with the Herky Jerky on first cold start-up of each day? Any thoughts?

JayBros, I 100% agree with your routine of warming up your machine before you ride, and you're right that it will take the herky jerky out of the start out of your ride. But I just don't see where you think that a tender should be part of a bike's life if you're using it every day, or even once...

My 2017 RT is Difficult to start after riding and then sitting for a hour - anyone else? Is it a dud fuel pump, bad injectors, or what?

When you did your plugs did you do the wires also? And did you use any dielectric grease in your plug boots? If not, maybe you should have! As far as the MPG's at 70-80 MPH, I think you're doing just about what you should be getting, put a set of wings on that thing and you could be flying!
