• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Frustrated at Pockets of Popularity

I don't own a Spyder.....yet. I've been in one dealership. I talked with the owner. He had no passion for his product, and didn't seem to even know much about it. He had no answer for my questions about after-market parts and accessories. It was close to closing time and he kept looking at his...

No luck Selling Spyder - should I part it out?

By "juice box" you mean some kind of piggyback device for the ECM that richens things up a bit? What brand? I would assume spyders come with a narrow band O2 sensor and you replaced that with the wide band?

If You Ride 2-UP Most Of The Time

Well now I know. The sway bar makes good sense and unlike those fancy floorboards (Seal), are reasonably priced.

If you get the seat that scoots you back 2 inches, does the back rest still work?

Good points! Especially the one I hi-lited in red....... My wife and I have had that conversation many times upon observing "two up" riders in our travels......why I haven't already thought of that is beyond me!!! It is not a HUGE deal with us, butt it's big enough if you get my drift! ;)

    Prospective Buyer

My understanding about warranties is they have to prove whatever you did that you weren't supposed to do, caused the problem you are seeking warranty for. A trailer hitch isn't gonna cause much of a problem I wouldn't think. I think HD makes much the same statement about hitches on their...

    Prospective Buyer

My thinking was being able to adjust it to fit, then leave it alone. Why would you move it? Your comment made me realize that there would be no moving around with the feet on the F3. Unlike a motorcycle, most have boards and highway pegs, and on the RT you can move your feet around on the the...

How does the "platform" differ? I acknowledge the radio/ipod thing. I'm 6-2 and the RT doesn't fit without some mods. The F3 is adjustable which makes it a lot more useful for me. With a back rest and a windshield, adjustable or not, i'd say I can spend as many hours, comfortably, on the F3 as...

    Prospective Buyer

I'm reading and researching on these machines (the RT series) trying to decide if I want to buy one. It seems the new 3 cylinder motor has made the older models, with the V-Twin, take a nose dive in price. After I discovered the changes, I knew immediately I wanted the new motor. Checking...

BRP Travel Cover - Windshield Scratches?

If a cover can move, like from the wind, it can scratch. I only use a cover at home in the garage to keep the dust off.

So the shocks that come on these things are junk? (I'm a possible future owner and just trying to learn about them.)

No luck Selling Spyder - should I part it out?

I don't own a Spyder, but I'm looking. In all the research I've done and reviews I've read, the fact that the Spyder doesn't have very good resale value keeps popping up. I don't have a answer for that, just noticed it and then when I read this thread I thought it tied in good.

Tie downs for enclosed v nose trailer

A V-Nose should already have the E-Channel in the nose. You really shouldn't need it anywhere else. Put a couple D-rings to the rear to keep the rear end from bouncing around and you should be good to go.
