• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake bleeding When I installed a hand brake system on my '08 Spyder, I accidently got air in the system. Disconnected the battery, hooked up a vacuum pump and bled the brakes till the air was out, took a ride on a grassey area to check out the ABS. All worked just fine and has been, for the...

    Hand Brake Poll

Handbrake. I have ridden 2 wheel motorcycles for 40 years with a hand brake. After purchasing the 08 Spyder I found using just the foot brake only was ackward and always reaching for the lever that wasn't there. SO, in 2010 I put in a brake system that was described here by one of the...

    My Unique Mods

Left leg limitations Pilo, If you don't have an artificial replacment for the left leg you might want to search out the gas cap extension that was done by another amp, that goes thru the seat and is filled without rasing the seat. I had the same problem, but with the artifical leg I get off/on...

    Parking Brake

Because I am AK left leg I had the parking brake problem also. I removed the left side foot peg and mounted it in the parking brake acuater arm. It now sticks out far enough to get my prostectic leg to set the brake. In place of the riders foot peg I added a footboard to hold my shoe while...

SE5 Stuck in gear with engine off

SE5 problems I had a situation when I backed my Spyder out of the garage to load on the trailer for the trip to Daytona, and shut it off in Reverse. After hooking up the trailer I then got back on the Spyder and NO START. No matter what I did it wouldn't start. Called the Dealer and got...

    SE5 Upshifts

I have also noticed the jerky effect of the upshifts on my SE5. Feathering the throttle just a bit smooths shifting out very nicely. Any one experience a engine stall while waiting for a light to change. It would not restart. Had to "reboot" the system by shutting down and then it restarted...
