• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Moving from RT to F3 - Have a few questions for those who have done this

I have an F3, and I also have titanium rods in my lower back. My back will hurt from sitting on the couch, but I have ridden my F3 for long distances, i.e., 450 miles from KY to FL, no back pain. My left hand was killing me from the oh so hard to pull clutch, but the ol' back was fine. I am 5'...

    things we dont do anymore

    Increasing daytime visibility

I've ridden on the cape many times. That traffic at rush hour, or Friday nights, is fast and furious, to say the least. Here's where the defensive driving is essential to surviving. Even when you're in a car it's hairy, so on a bike scarey. A few times I was heading there at dusk, a time when...

You don't know what ya don't know..

I have an F3. I am 5'3", 103 lbs. I have read the posts, and now I wish I was able to do some things myself. Going to the dealer is always a shocking experience, not to mention costly! So that being said, the headlights are the only thing I don't like. The ride is great, this is my second...

    TRAILER QUESTION - Harbor Freight

I had a "piggy back" trailer, it's a step up from harbor freight trailer. It cost more, but it came with spare tire, and cooler rack. When it needed tires, they sent me the tires, with the wheel bearings. I pulled this trailer many miles, with my spyder, and even my car. That trailer was great...

    Decrease in Posting

It was 84 here today. Had to take advantage of it. Nice ride to Panama City Beach. Red flags out which means no swimming. The Spyder is like a magnet. People come around asking questions about it. Most people tell me they love it. I didn't see any other Spyders, about 8 HD's. Anybody out there...

    Statistics

Ain't that the truth. My eyes get tired from looking ahead, behind, Left, right, hoping some idiot on their cell phone notices I have stopped in front of them. It's a jungle out there. 🤕 Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    Noob overthinking it' I'm sure

I used to ride a suzuki Boulevard, but after a trip to sturgis from RI, I was so packed on the bike that it was hazardous to my health. Decided if I was going to enjoy my adventures more, needed something safer. Bought a Spyder. The Spyder took a little getting used to. 2 days after I bought...

    F3-S trailer hitch?

I also was told by the dealer thst a hitch would work on my new f3. The dealer ordered the hitch, I went to have it installed, NOT, the hitch wouldn't work. The swing arm was round on bike. [emoji35] the hitch needed square. So, I guess stuffing my bag more, and no passengers will have to do me...

    Question for the group

I have 7" rods in my lower back, my back will probably always bother me at times. I ride my Spyder on long trips, and my back is fine with it. I wonder if I could deduct the cost of the Spyder as "therapy". Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Remeinder.. That "parking" brake - really isn't.

I live on a dirt road so there's no avoiding it. I check the belt for rocks, or whatever may get in there. A few years ago, I was riding in Canada. Many of their roads are dirt. People there drive fast, very fast on these roads. In Canada I saw many Spyders, duh yea since that's where they come...

    Updates for 2018...

So that vibration I feel at 62-66 means my bike belt needs a tensioner? I used to have a 2010, it had the same vibration. Here I am thinking it's inherent in the breed. I have a 2015 f3. So I wonder why can-am doesn't fix it before ya buy it :(( Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
