• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2011 RT Check Engine/Limp Home/P1120 P2620 Codes

Greetings all, I have a 2011 RTS with 44,000 miles on it. The first 30,000 miles were problem free but over the last 14,000 miles the Spyder has been in two different shops at least five times for the same issue, check engine, limp home, and two codes P1120 and P2620. I already know that...

    Signal mirrors on RT

Greetings all, I had some LED signal blind spot mirrors laying around that had been installed on previous 4 wheeled vehicles. My current 4 wheeled vehicle has them already so I decided to install them on the Spyder instead. Here are the steps I took to accomplish the task: 1) If you...

HELP! DIRT UNDER WINDSHIELD DRIVING ME CRAZY!

Sorry, no suggestions, don't have an RT (yet). I understand how you feel though, hopefully you'll eventually succeed. In the mean time, I would suggest riding it as much as you can until the rest of the machine's dirt level matches the area you're trying to clean. :2thumbs: Oh by the way...

First post new RSS owner Hindle question

Yes, the HMF is cheaper and a little louder. My wife has the HMF and the sound is very similar to the hindle. That would definitely be a good choice as well.

First post new RSS owner Hindle question

It is substantially louder, especially at higher RPMs, yet not obnoxiously loud. Add to that the Y logo in the heat shield and the Can-Am label gives it a nice stock look in case you're worried about getting pulled over. You can say it's a stock pipe. :2thumbs: Most (if not all) aftermarket...

    Nothing but problems

Sorry you're having problems but hopefully they will pass quickly and easily. Not that it helps any but my wife and I have a combined 46,000 problem free miles on ours. Hopefully you're just experiencing a fluke. Good luck!

    DPS Recall

To anyone who says they never had a problem with their DPS, I have to ask if you are sure it ever worked at all? In the case of our PE, I don't believe it ever did. Maybe you've just gotten used to having to muscle it around corners and now that you don't have to, you could easily be...

Soon to be new spyder owner!

:welcome: I'll tell you about my first ever experience on a Spyder back in September of 2007 on a prototype before they officially released. I tried to counter-steer it and headed straight for the other side of the road! :yikes: I did this even after being told several times by the guys at...

    Doing your own maintenance

My wife and I do (or plan to do) oil changes, filter, coolant, spark plugs, break pads and discs etc. As a policy we won't touch the engine. I can't speak to anything about the warranty, I'd check the terms and conditions of the warranty itself though I can't imagine voiding the warranty by...

    No Spyderfest so...................

If you're feeling adventurous, come out to California in August for Spyders in the Redwoods! :2thumbs: We rode out to Tennessee for Spyders in the Smokies in 2009, it was tough but we made it and memories to last a lifetime.
