• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone else got water in the battery area?

A while back I changed the battery on a 2020 RTL. At the time, I found some water around the battery. I looked around, but didn't find anything that looked wrong. Well today, I washed my Spyder and since I was getting ready to go on a trip, I thought I would check the battery terminals make...

Here's how I save the oil plug O-ring when fitting it!

When you change oil and you need to change the O-ring, as I found after taking the old O-ring off; just take a piece of scotch tape and put it around the threads before sliding your O-ring right on, so that you don't have to worry about damaging the O-ring! It makes it a little easier. Have a...

What is the number of hours required to assemble an RT?

Has anyone tried to get one still in the crate and assemble it yourself?? Why aren't they fully assembly at the factory except for the windshield and battery installed? I know there's shipping, but how much more would it really be?? It's just a big scam, we know most dealers don't go over them...

Want to upgrade the ride - Tires, shocks, or both?

Check the rear shock and make sure there is air in it before buying anything. You said stiff and jarring and no dampening, so check a little closer on what I have suggested first. Just a thought.

Tell Me Something Good About Your Spyder Ownership Experience

Owned many bikes, all of them have their own personality. When I decide I wanted a 3-wheeler, I test rode a GW 3-wheeler (I have ridden GW's for years) and it was OK. I rode an HD 3-wheeler, and I won't say what I thought of it! Then I rode the Spyder and loved it! It had a couple of little...

White knuckle test ride - can I learn to like this? Buy newish or older/cheaper?

I would get a 2020 or newer if you can. See if you can find a left over 2023. You get a new warranty and not something you know nothing about. You will not be sorry if you get an RT or RTL, they are great. Just take your time to learn how it handles. If possible, find out from your dealer if...

Zumo XT stopped working - anyone else had this problem? Will Garmin repair?

Called Garmin tech line and told the tech what happened. He told me to plug it into the electrical outlet (even though I'd already charged it for a number of hours) and told me to hold the button for at least 30 seconds, or until the screen was displayed. It came on in about 25 seconds and works...

Riding today, my Zumo just stop working. I checked to make sure it had a good contact on the electric mount... When I got home, I plugged it into a charger, waited a while, then tried to turn it back on - nothing. I'm going to call Garmin tomorrow. Has anyone else had this problem? Does Garmin...
