• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone know what is in the Air Damper "Kit"?

Not exactly sure yet. I know there was a slight leak out of Schrader valve so replaced the core and stopped that. Still need to soap everything to see where the "major" (ie leaks down overnight) leak is. Just figured I would plan for the worst of having to get a new damper and go from there...

Anyone know what is in the Air Damper "Kit"?

@Peter Aawen, mine is just an RT, so it is already a 'manual only' system. When I look up parts, the part number mentioned is for the air damper but the basic description states 'kit', so one would assume it contains more that just the damper.

Anyone know what is in the Air Damper "Kit"?

Have done a search and didn't see what I was looking for. Wife's RT has a slow leak in the air damper system somewhere. Looked up parts and came across the Air Damper Kit (p/n 219800175). Curious about what is included in the "kit"? Called my closest dealer and they weren't sure either. So if...

Will a pre-load after market rear shock replace the need for the air bag?

Curious to know if you go this route. The airbag/valve/air line on my wife's RT has a slow leak, so I have to inflate it every time she rides. I would like to not have to use it if possible. I too am leaning towards Wilbers, as that is what I have upgraded to on my BMW two-wheelers through Ted...

What's best for Cold weather winter storage? Fuel additive? Battery care? Rodents?

Good advice in previous posts. Non-ethanol gas, sta-bil, change oil & filter and battery charger/maintainer. What I do/have done for 20+ years for the 2 & 4 wheel vehicles I store for the winter is get sticky traps and surround the tires of the vehicle. Only access they have is via the tires...

After hearing so much hoopla, I finally tried Buc-ee's! Never Again!

Didn't want to appear like a pretentious American and assume it happens everywhere. Sorry to hear that it's not limited to happening just here.

After hearing so much hoopla, I finally tried Buc-ee's! Never Again!

I would say it's the way the US is headed problem, not a Bucees problem. On the way to a 2-wheeler rally a month ago, stop at station with 6 pumps. All full, none pumping any fuel, one vehicle left and 3 of us had to utilize that one pump as the vehicles at the other pumps never moved the...

Warranty Question - Would you let a regular M/cycle shop fit a rear tire?

Not sure if it makes a difference but, spoke with my local Can Am dealer who only sells and services their off-road stuff. They will install tires on the Spyder and could care less what type/brand they are.

Are there any Ear Buds with Remote control for basic functions?

I also utilize a SENA unit on my helmet. But didn't like using the supplied speakers. Ordered custom earplugs from a gal that is an audiologist that has been doing custom earplugs for motorcyclists for a while. They work great as they serve dual purpose of providing audio from my phone via...

If she decides on driver thats what I will go with based on recommendations from you and others. Don't see anything for passenger though.

Looking for Low Cost Passenger Backrest options - recommendations?

Looking for a low-cost passenger backrest option. Wife will be riding solo for 99% of the time, so looking for something the other 1% when our daughter might ride with her. Can't really justify the almost $800 for a LinQ rack and backrest.
