• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where are you from? Where do you live?

. Pros: In the forest above Reno, Nevada. Moments from my driveway are the Sierra Nevada passes. (MANY to choose from) Great summers up here, 5700 ft. Winters aren't that cold compared to some. It's 12 minutes to Mt. Rose/Ski Tahoe, still skiing at 78 years young. ( 46 days last winter)...

    Define "Old"

Well, I'll be 78 in a couple of months and looking forward to the upcoming ski season. Did 46 days last year and would like to match that this year. Mike (@BLUEKNIGHT911) and I tried to match up ski days. I still ride the poor, old, slow, V-Max when I'm out by myself. The Spyder is for my wife...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Have you been out to 'The Lost Coast" yet?? It's stunning. BTW: My dad was a Coasty at the beginning of WW ll. Mom was an Army Nurse, half-brother was Navy, I was US Army.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Took a great ryde around Lake Tahoe yesterday. Perfect company (my wife of many years), perfect weather (BlueBird day), Spyder ran perfectly. Brunch at the Firesign restaurant was good too. Lew L

When Only On Street Angled Parking is available, do you back in, or drive in?

I ALWAYS back in on 2 wheels. The poor, old, slow V-Max is a heavy one!! On the Spyder, angled parking, I nose in. Lew L

My RT-L first service tomorrow - is one of the 2 drain plugs magnetic? Any advantage to having both magnetic?

"trapped in between the two" What a dolt!! Get a new parts guy.

    Interesting Throttle Mod Video

I'm so glad I had my ECU flashed my Monster Fuel Injection. I did get the throttle response increase option as well as an actual increase in horsepower. Along with the intake and exhaust mods. My poor old 2014 RTS walks away from other RT's in our group. Lew L

I did the yearly oil and filter change this afternoon. Sure am glad I opened up the hole in the plastic around the drain plug. Lew L

P0106 error code and air filter maintenance

Hi Aero, your post encouraged me to do filter maintenance on my 2014 RTS. The K&N filter did need cleaning. My intake mod is much more open in the very front and it gets more bugs than the standard, restricted, OEM inlet. Well, one thing leads to another, so I cleaned the filter on the poor...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Cleaned the K&N air filter today. It needed it, as some of the filter was insect blocked, some just blocked with road schmutz, and some just looked untouched.

Rear ACS/suspension on 2015 RT seems to have failed - anyone else? How did you address it?

Mikey gave the correct info. Mine, a 2014 RTS, also had a swivel connector. All was removed and a piece of the correct hose connected the Schrader valve to the air bag. Oh, it's really dirty down there - be prepared for it. Lew L
