• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Ryding to Genoa today for lunch. That's Genoa, Nv., not the Genoa in Italy.;) Did all the pre ryde checks yesterday and found my high mount brake light didn't work. One of the wirers had broken at the trunk lid. repaired both wires and cushioned them well.

Do I just keep pumping with Speed Bleeders until the line fills up?

I love Speed Bleeders. I draw out old fluid from the reservoir, top up, and pump as instructed. You can purchase online a small one-way valve to fit to the hose that does the same job as the Speed Bleeders.

I've got a bent front wheel - any idea where to buy a new one?

12 years ago I had the same problem with a brand new Spyder. The dealer was good about pulling another wheel off a showroom Spyder. And, yes, it was a bad rim.....

Anyone use an Iridium face shield? Any advantages/disadvantages?

Not quite the same but.... I place a strip of electrical tape at the top edge of both the shield and the drop-down shield on my helmet. With mirrored, polarized sunglasses seems to work pretty good.

Learning to ride this bike: my progress so far

Yes, Spyders have REAL good brakes. If you haven't practiced a HARD panic stop, please consider it. In a safe place. Be Prepared..........

First time ride on my Spyder today - I think I'm gonna like it!

Practice a panic stop were it's safe. Spyders can stop very hard.

87 Octane seems to work just fine

HIGH OCTANE for me... Stage 1 with intake and exhaust mods. Plus, I hop up all the motors; The Spyder, the V-Max, the Dodge Hemi, even the snowblower... 🤪 🤪

2014 RT with intermittent buzzing noise - any ideas on what it might be?

I went manual years ago when the OEM compressor failed because of a leaking swivel in the factory system. holds pressure for months and is easy to set. Lew L

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Nothing... Because I'm on the poor, old, slow V-Max today doing a multi mountain pass ride with a friend on his Harley Sportster. I'll be nice🤪🤪

My Motohorn died on me this weekend

My Stiebel horns have been great for over a decade. Even the one on my poor, old, slow V-Max out in the breeze is ear piercing.
